Yes Ghana have ugandasque kind of houses. Nigeria has american architecture feel. What both lack is greenery - and this is because their zoning laws are either weak or non-existent.In Kenya to have a building plan approved- you have to show at least 20-30% of green space reserved. If you're building a high rise or a road - you may be required to plant thousands of trees elsewhere.
