If you don't see an option to uninstall updates, disable the app. It'll reset it to factory version and then you enable it.

With a strong WiFi I was able to update my note 8 today, even mtn could not provide the strong network required. So, if u are having issue with the update, just as in my case, a strong WiFi should do it seamlessly.

if you're using Airtel, change to other ISP. I've been having app update issue for some days using Airtel as mobile data/hotspot until I tried using MTN this morning.

Cc: GrandMufti. Just got that issue resolved using MTN netw.

Try MTN and let's see as it isn't about speed. While I was having problem updating/installing apps in playstore, I was still able to browse, download and do other internet activities.
