The original inhabitants aren't Hausa's . Jabarama, kabawa, kangawa etc are some of the languages/tribes there. However the language is almost extinct due to the Fulani jihad. Presently, there's a healthy mix of Fulani!/Hausa with local tribes not discounting intermarriages brought about by long years of association.

You will be surprised they are not. There are some who still speak these languages especially the older folk. They are a conquered people but they are not Hausa's even though they speak the language. These things are not black and white if you've been to the North before. Consider the Zurus, a most enlightened tribe in Kebbi today. They still hold on to some distinct norms which in many ways differentiates them from the regular Hausa folk.

I know that the people of zuru and yauri emirates are mostly Christians and non hausas while the people of argungu and gwandu emirates are purely Hausa fulanis.sorry is dandi in southern, central or northern zones of kebbi?
