One of my memorable moments in 2002 was Germany Vs Saudi Arabia. That's was my first time to see such an embarrassing scoreline in a world cup Then Ronaldinho's free kick against Seaman (I think). |

Segedinho:I never said so. I stated some characters in movies and novels are/were real people and some of the legends are real past events, but with some changes to make the stories more interesting and sellable to the public. Segedinho:I read the history of the universe compiled by the guy in 2018 (first came across the thread in 2017). The book is lengthy, so it took me a year to finish it. He makes thousands of claims, which I can't personally verify (at least not now); however I find some of them true, especially as regards Yahweh, Allah, and Olohun being different entities. Even when I was still a Muslim, I know that fact quite well. Other members on Nairaland also know that, including some atheists. These 3 entities are simply starkly different with different traits and histories. However, concerning the claim that Allah, Yahweh, and other religious gods are in a spiritual cage, I don't know whether that's true or not. Nevertheless, people abuse those gods daily and are living fine. So, the gods are as good as dead or nonexistent on this planet any longer. Apart from Otematum, other people (not from this part of the world) versed in esoterica and history of religions have explained how ancient gods and goddesses used to trap souls in a cube called tesseract; it was a common practice among them in ancient times. One author even explained the phenomenon well before Otem started compiling the history book, when he was still a Christian. So, I wouldn't be surprised if those gods and goddesses of religions are really in a spiritual cage as he says. The entities don't act like they exist. I approach the history of the universe he compiles as a novel, the same way I regard holy books. But Otem's book is much more complete, consistent and reasonable than all of them combined. It has a more complete version of virtually all the legends, myths, fables in those holy books and in different cultures around the world. The book is an essential piece of literature to learn the histories of the gods, goddesses, giants (anakims, nephilias, nephiliums), homo erectus, homo sapien, angels, demons, afterlife, hell, heaven, etc. I have other versions of history of humanity written by authors, who are not Nigerian, in my e-library. One of these essential books is "A brief history of Humankind: Homo Sapiens" by Yuval Noah Harari, an Israeli professor of History. He and Otem say humanity (homo sapiens) started from Africa over 200,000 years ago. There are many pieces of archaeological evidence (fossils) in support of this theory, so I feel they're right. Segedinho:The book has the histories of almost all (if not all) gods and goddesses, including Buddha, right from the Beginning. I feel it's the most complete history of the universe ever written by any author so far. However, no single book contains (or can contain) the whole truths or the full histories of the universe, which is unimaginably big. 1 Like |

Segedinho:I am a human with no fixed beliefs, no religion, or philosophies. I go with whatever is reasonable and is backed by evidence. My stance on voodoo still remains unchanged: Most claims of voodoo are superstitious. There are mysterious phenomena that haven't been explained by science yet, which some people term supernatural or spiritual. More scientific understanding will be (are being) realized about some of them, and they will become normal things in the future. However, I feel there's a thin line between the spiritual and the physical, and real "spiritual or "supernatural" claims have to be logical, reproducible, and observable. If not, they are mere superstitions and are mere tricks of magia, some of which abound in Qur'an and the Bible. |

Don’t know which one is the best for me. I enjoyed France 98 a bit sha. We managed to beat Spain 3-2 and then also Bulgaria. 1-0. Bulgaria was a really interesting match. Our forwards lost many chances. After securing qualification, we surprisingly lost 3-0 to Paraguay. People said NFF sold the match. After that we were crushed 4-1 against Denmark in the next round. That match pain me ehn. I remember say I no eat night food that day. And of course, Zidane’s header wey enter Carlos toros in the final; Barthez opening his yanshe in one match and camera capturing it. Na naija matches I watch mostly. |

Segedinho:Life goes on. I believe our soul continues to exist in other worlds after death. The soul is immortal. There's nothing like hell. I have done extensive research on that before leaving religion. Hell is a concept from god El, one of the thousands of gods worshipped in history. According to some literature, El, working alongside his partners (Yahweh, Allah, Ieusus Krista) created a place for disbelievers in them in the spiritual realm. Hell is only real to those that believe in it; it only exists as a figment of their imagination, and not a universal truth, just like demons exist only in the imagination of those that believe in them and they alone are tormented by them. Those gods are only a tiny fraction of God Almighty that isn't bothered about what we do on earth and doesn't care about religions. Whatever anyone sow they shall reap; that's a universal truth. Any entity that says he's all-loving, all-knowing and still designed hell-fire for so-called sinners isn't God Almighty. Vindictiveness, jealousy, anger (all traits of religious gods) are human-like traits depicting limitations in intelligence and knowledge. Hence, all gods of religions are human-like entities, not God Almighty that's unknowable and hidden as it's said in Hermetica. Ultimately, everyone will go back to the Source (where we all came from). I feel this sort of research is better done personally and independently. No form of growth (whether mental/spiritual or physical) can occur without freedom and independent thinking. 3 Likes |

Singapore1: I watched the 1998 world cup, but not really in full. One of my uncles weded in Port Harcourt that year so the whole family had to travel down there, so it messed up my plan to watch the matches keenly. I watched the 2002 world cup too but most of the matches were played at awkward times. We are mostly in the classroom hearing shouts of goal or when we are preparing for school. I only watched the matches played on weekends and Saturdays mostly. I think that match we played against Argentina was on a Sunday morning and I don't know I did it but I sha watch the match and went late for service that day( surprisingly only pastor's family was not late that day ) The next two world cups I didn't really enjoy them. I was pissed Zidane lost his cool and handed the Italians the 2006 world cup, while the 2010 world cup was just there Jàre. I watched the 2014 world cup well well. That time I was home waiting for NYSC call up and it afforded me Time to watch most of the matches. I remember watching the Germany 7 vs 1 Brazil match and and within 30 minutes Germany had scored 5 ( I think). My mumsy who was dozing off on the sofa in between the match and wakes at intervals when I celebrate Germany's goals asked if Brazil didn't train at all before the match or if their coach did not come to the stadium . 3 Likes |

Segedinho:Everyone reaps what they sow. That's universal truth. And it's more reasonable to do good than bad. It doesn't make sense to be evil or vindictive. About hell, why would an all-knowing entity create hell-fire or even Satan? Didn't he know the weaknesses of his creatures before creating them when he's supposed to know all things? 3 Likes |

seankafor:What's that? Modified: Yes, I feel it applies to every living/conscious entity with a soul, including humans, animals, plants, microbes, etc. Each of these has a soul, unique to each of them. Souls are of different types, existing in groups (human-type, animal-type, plant-type, etc.). |
