A manhunt has begun for a Lebanese who offered to sell Nigerian woman for $1,000.

Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, said this on Tuesday.

The Nigerian mission in Lebanon has since reported to the host authorities. A manhunt is on for the man and all out search for the young girl. Let’s keep her in our prayer.

Most of the Asians and the lebanese I have seen close or from a distance are abusive, racist and exploitative...and when they are nice, it is to wealth.

Very good. The power of social media. The lady should be retrieved and rehabilitated.

...but will his country cooperate with Nigeria to make him face the full wrath of the law?

Nigeria government should listen to the cries of maltreatment of Nigerians working with these set of people, even on our soil.

Lovely

To get to the root of this

They should hunt also for the lady that allowed herself to be sold

After all she is not a minor , there's a Local cabal here that supply passports to the Lebanese to market

This $ 1000 is not the final bill , these maids all billed over 10M by Madams, after they are sold , their salaries keep coming to the madam that sponsored the trip until her 10M target reached, then the maid will gain freedom to start saving her salaries , human trafficking is very bad , they will never tell u all the truth from beginning !

They do take them to a local shrines to swear , that will make them to pay out of fear, cos their private hairs are in shrine ,

God will save us

They've seen who they can flex muscle on.

What about our brothers with valid papers sleeping outside in China for weeks now?

Madam abike wehdone jare. Tomorrow now it's the same unpatriotic Nigerians they are fighting for that'll open their big mouths and talk shit about the country to outsiders then wonder why nobody respects them even in African countries.

A lot of people do not care where they are going to as long as they can be guaranteed a way out of the country. Even relocating to another state in the country without being prepared or knowing anyone in d new state you at relocating to would make settling down very challenging.

Nigeria may be tough but, there's no country in d world that's poverty free.
