TiAd:so In a lay man's understanding, you re saying.. once I kill am insect,it returns back to its source. Once a plant is been killed or weeded,it returns back to its source. And lastly once a human dies, it also returns back to its source.. What and where are these original sources that these creatures returns back to? And how do you know and come to a conclusion to these? And do you have any evidence or reference to your claims( apart from theoretical references). If we return to our original source when we die, then its evident we were somewhere before we were born..where were we(you) before you were born? 3 Likes 1 Share |

seankafor:I am only stating my beliefs based on my own research and extensive reading. The wise thing is for everyone to do their own research and reach their own conclusions, rather than following the philosophy of others such as Muhammad or Jesus blindly like Muslims and Christians do. Since a person can die any time, wise people will devote a fraction of their daily life to seek knowledge and get an idea of afterlife. This sort of research, for me, is lifelong. Back to your questions, based on my own research, soul (consciousness) never dies because it's an aspect of God Almighty that has no beginning nor end. If you kill an insect, I'm not knowledgeable enough to start tracing every insect killed to their afterlife, since thousands of insects die every now and then and there are billions of worlds in the universe that could serve as an afterlife. However, I feel when a person dies, they can choose to reincarnate back to earth or proceed to higher worlds to spend a second life. The concept of reincarnation is in virtually every religion on earth and is more reasonable than the concept of hell. Life events always occur in cycles. As regards the Source, in some esoteric philosophies, in the Beginning, everything in existence split from the Source (or the First Cause, the Beginning or God Almighty) in a series of expansions into time and space (this concept is known as Big Bang in science). But while science says the universe started existing from a Big Bang, esoterica and some philosophies say there are many of such big bangs and many universes, and that these big bangs (expansions into space and time) are still happening now. The process of creation is one of evolution (originating from the Source) and involution (returning to the Source) and the cycles go on and on. If you want to learn more, you can do your own research. Good places to start are from Otem's Universal Book of history, The Kyballion — a Study of the Hermetic Philosophy, the Code to the Matrix to the Matrix by James Evans Boemer. It will take time to read these books and there are many of such books online. You can as well choose to ignore all these and choose the easier path by becoming an atheist. While atheism doesn't have any depth, it's still a lot better than being a slave to any god in religion. The decision you take is entirely up to you. I have said enough. 1 Like |

seankafor: This was exactly the question I had in mind. I still stand by what I said earlier about him, he is clearly a brilliant individual with a curious mind who has carried out extensive research on a wide scope of religious ideologies, beliefs, history, scientific postulations and philosophies. However, some times, one falls victim to his own supposed brilliance. Just as Isaac Newton and some of the earlier scientists in their quest for the understanding of the universe believed ardently in alchemy which we now know is rubbish, he too has a lot of postulations and theories which are just plain rubbish. Just as he has fed his mind with reasonable knowledge he has also fed it with unadulterated bullocks. His posts are quite interesting and captivating though. I feel both impressed and appalled or amused at his thinking. |

TiAd:lol.. you see, you re not any different than the religious people who believes their own indoctrination and figments of their imaginations.. the only difference is that you chose to be rational and more science embracing than religious folks.. I acknowledge the fact you said it's your own personal belief.. so from henceforth, dont force it down our throats and try make us accept it as the truth.. believe what you like and keep it to yourself alone. I myself have walked through the paths of religion and agnosticism (not atheism).. my journey was rough and I was nearly disowned by own parents.. But in all these journeys, I was made to realise that none of these matters, none of these put food on my table and none of this helped humanity. I quitted all these wide goose chase years ago because they dont pay my bills.. I believe the universe will take care of itself.. I believe as am typing this now.. this will even be my last contribution to this topic.. 5 Likes 1 Share |

seankafor:Stating my opinion on issues isn't the same as forcing anything down your throats. Did I force you to join any group or read any book? Your reading any of those books doesn't benefit me since I am not their author and they're not paid books. |
