Nigeria/DICON signed an intent to manufacture Beryl rifles, though we haven't heard much since the deal was signed.

I believe they are being produced in Nigeria considering how many are already on the battlefield.Nigeria ordered 10K.
They are the Standard issue for the AHQ SF.

The Beryl deal is dead as far as I know, but efforts are made in other areas. DICON-SUR is a considerable foreign direct investment, NAVMC now integrated into DICON is doing well with a good range of vehicles.

Realistically, with the ongoing, we need to produce at least 25,000 rifles a year, and standardise at least the Armed Forces first.

Since both the Army and Air Force like it.

That will simply be a disaster.

We need to have alternative sources of funding. The military cannot continue to depend on budgetary allocations.

If this was the case Ezugwu MRAP APC would not have been a reality today.

It seems NAF have dumped it. In favour of the AK-103.
