When a transaction occur two things must occur either you are losing cash to gain an asset or otherwise. So if you are told to calculate capital you make capital the subject of the formula and viola .
Capital= asset-liability

Infact the whole of ba3 is talking about this

When entering transaction in a T column debit and credit account we use this mnemonic device DEAD CLIC
Meaning Debit side. Enter expense, asset and drawing. And credit side enter, liability, income and capital.

So expense asset and drawing on the left and liability income and capital on the right.

It seems alot of people here are just procrastinating, I was in that shoe years back. I v a post graduate certificate that I struggled to get my transcript to no avail over the years. Now I have decided to let go (because I spent much making a mistake doesn't mean I shd continue with the mistake) am on this cima journey back to back , I don't even know what credit and debit is , I use Google to get to know meaning of some terminology ( am purely healthscience). Let go. Last last you ll become a management accountant it's a win-win

I am yet to know that, I can only answer this after I receive the email. I am yet to receive it.

The only problem with this is that you have to wait till September before you can take the exam. You can only take the exam twice a year( March and September) and the certificate takes another 2 months although it's cheaper and the pass mark is 40/120 + it's theory only

September is still very far away!
