Has the application been approved already?Thought it was medical request that came through?
Anon123:

The tuition was 15kcad.. but for Conestoga, u pay a deposit of 1500cad subsequently you pay the balance. We paid $1500cad and got the receipt the next day. The course is a 3yrs course. The brother had a dollar acct of $7k and Nigerian account bal of 3-4m. The applicant had a person bal of 500k.. So we figured, that was enough to cater for the tuition fee balance and part of the living expenses, the 500k is able to cater for the other part of the living expenses.
I feel for his application, it's the sop that gave us the needed boost.. I didn't talk about his finances or how much was sidelined for wat purpose... I spent more time to avoid purpose of visit.

Medical request came through but approval is inevitable.. at least all docs used in the application is authentic, account balance is okay..

Hello,

Please I would like some answers on the following questions.
I recently just got denied a Canadian study visa and I was given reasons as to why I was rejected but it still doesn’t make sense to me., the first reason was
1. That they didn’t think I’ll come back because if my ties in Canada and in Nigeria

2. They didn’t think I’ll come back based on my current employment status

And I had every document they requested. Please I would like to know what you suggest I do and how I go about this.

Thanks

Same thing they told me, though I just relax ,I will apply again next week ,

Please house my question,

Since banks are not working now ,can I still use my formal bank statement of account which was 6 months old as of February 2020 to reapply again ?

You said the PGD course is 3years program?
But on their website the supply course is actuallu 1 year program, I don't really think if there is any PGD program that is 3years the highest you can go is 1year except u are talking about advanced diploma

You can start with your Statement of account. You don't have to scan every individual page. You can simply remove some certain pages especially dates that have in-active transfers. Also look into changing some of the documents to black and white format.

My thought also. Its 1year programme the last time i check. Also the POF can only sustain him for 1year programme. My own view though considering the living expense and tuition among others.Above all congratulations to him again!!!!its indeed a great grace.

Sorry to ask but is his brother sponsoring him?

If not how will he pay the balance? I'm asking this because I'm trying to have an idea of how much I'll be needing when I want to go for my masters after this my first degree.

I'll most likely be sponsoring myself.

PGD is advanced diploma..

No bro that is not correct, I thought as much because I know it's only advanced diploma that has a 3years duration to complete, b4 I digressed Advanced diploma is not the same with PGD which is Post Graduate Diploma you can only gain admission into a pgd program only if you have completed your diploma, hnd or first degree while you can gain that of the Subject only with your waec.
Thanks

Please, I'm yet to get a response from the house.

Good evening my people!

I have a couple of issues I need your wisdom. I will highlight each questions and hope to get your suggestions.

1. I have shares in 3 companies and I want to use them as home ties in my application but in recent times bank share has plummeted making my unit share to worth nothing at all. Should I still include them as my home ties?

2. I have a land that was gifted to me by my father. He has sworn affidavit that states he is giving me the land as my own part of his inheritance. Is that enough proof to lay claim to the land as my own as I intend to use it as my asset?

3. Me and my partner are into a project in providing social services. We just started the NGO registration before the lockdown, although we are just emerging as we became the whole process February this year.

My concern is, in my SOP I included it but my intentions was to draw VO's mind to that fact that I have a social responsibility to Nigeria and that I will be coming back after my studies to continue with the structures we have in place. Will that also serve as a strong home tie considering the NGO registration is on hold currently because of the lockdown and I don't have a proof to show that our work exists?

4. My father has a registered company and I want to include it as a home tie even though I have not worked there. Is it enough home tie?

5. My sponsor just informed me that she won't be giving me her employment letter (she has a PR in Canada) and she will only provide me with her payslips. Is the payslips enough to prove to the VO my sponsor's employment details? Won't it affect my application if I don't have my sponsor's employment letter?

6. Since banks are not in operation, will using MYBANKSTATEMENT be an option in showing my proof of fund since I'm not applying through NSE?

*I'm sorry for the long post and most of them focuses on solidifying my home ties. Please your suggestions are needed. Thank you all and God bless.*
Please my ogas should help me with these concerns I have raised.

@Frankrobbn1
@JustMellow

Hello Tstunt,

All the mentioned ties are very good and strong demonstration of home ties. However, it is up to you to append proper evidence and enlighten the VO on their significants to you and how it would easily compel your return. If a sponsor is willing and committed to sponsor you, showing proof of the sponsor's source of funds and proof of funds is very vital. However, the payslips are also vital proof of a source of funds but it mostly complement documents like the employment letter, BS etc. I am not sure about its sufficiency hence the more reason you get proper documented proofs. For the point 6, the only option you have if getting your statement from the bank is unsuccessful is to generate it using your online banking system and if your bank recognizes the Bank Statement ID and Ticket Password, then it will suffice also.

All the best

For the purpose of visit
What did you do in your bsc
Wat did you come out with
What course are you going for in canada
PGD or masters
Is it related to your bsc

For travel History,
Have you travelled before
Did you mention it on your sop
I advise if you wish to reapply, don't mention about travel history or home ties..

Hello Anon123,

It maybe considered as not important by some but its always advised/necessary to demonstrate/talk about these things in bolded.

BTW a PGD is higher than an Advanced Diploma which runs at atmost 1yr in most institutions while the latter runs at most 2yrs (fast-track) to 3yrs. Also, I must say that your application attracted luck and grace going by the funds showed for both sponsor and self and other considerations, especially in the standpoint of your 1yr tuition and LE when totalled against your brother's closing balance. Its a good thing that your research paid off.

Congratulations on your application and all the best.
