for how long you wanna lockdown?. The same governor Cuomo said lockdown, social distancing, face masks is not over until vaccine is produced and vaccine is not available until up to 2yrs from now.

Now, can Nigeria and Nigerians sustain till then?. And Africa makes no move to produce their own vaccine. They are waiting for White man to do the research and buy vaccine for billions of dollars at the expense of another loan

Kontinu

Vaccine is currently being tested in Germany and UK

So get your facts right

Humans at the brink of extinction over a virus that has a less mortality rate than malaria? Check the numbers and see its all hype.
they are idiots...only 12 known deaths in a nation of 200million, since it spread to Nigeria...malaria kills more people than that.

Ignorantly some people are clamouring for ending lockdown..

When death knock all of you... same us will still blame the government for not protecting the citizens.

In a much as confirm cases keep rising FG has no option than to lockdown.

Hunger is better than... excruciating pain which will end in death

99 percent are immune and will recover from the virus no one is immune to hunger and effects of lock down

With the lockdown cases are still arising.
If I were in the hem of affairs in the country this would be my suggestions;

1. No interstate movement.
2. Wear facemask or die by fire. (North Korean style)
3. Before you can open your business, you must get tested.
4. Schools cant open for now.
You suggestion is fr the devil.
Covid is here to stay if you lik stay indoors forever. In this country yu hav over 1million undictated cases since 2019 and you are stil alive.Anybody who doesnt understand this covid as spiritual force and do the needful wil perish with Fear and Hysteria for their ignorance.

when you go out and get infected, you will reason differently. Everyone is losing no just you, everyone in d world is losing something financially so what's the big deal? Just don't come out of this totally broke. That's y people save for the rainy day.

You have plenty to eat that is why you are talking about saving.

What about those who do not have much to eat let alone save especially the daily income earner.

How do they survive?

NA STAY AT HOME THEM GO EAT?

Let the federal government and state government relax the lockdown and open up the economy.

It is not even all the states that has corona patient.

Some state has fewer numbers.

What is the essence of the uniform lockdown across most of the 36 states.

you just proved me right. Why is Africa always waiting for White people before they do things?.

Besides, vaccine being tested in Germany or elsewhere doesn't mean it is gonna be out soon. Listen bro, it is all game. US says vaccine will be available 12 to 18 months. They all know what they are doing.

Again, why is AFRICA waiting for White people to produce vaccine?. Don't you have virologists in Africa?. Why must you do follow follow?. Why must you lockdown because they lockdown too?.

Why don't Africans think for themselves?. Why do you have science classes in secondary schools?. Something is seriously wrong with AFRICA

the lockdown is not working

government is not sincere & doesn't care for Nigerians at all

lockdown is close to 4weeks, how many people have been tested so far?

in what way has this government assist Nigerians with relieve materials?

Despite lockdown, people still moves from one state to the other

Government can't lock down people further more else unimaginable will happen

Nigerians are suffering with hunger, it's preventable if government is serious but it's unfortunate that this cursed government we have in Nigeria still stole money meant for testing people & treating people for covid 19

Lockdown is not working
What are your own alternative to this lock down

it would cost 25000 x 200million people x 3months

i will leave u to do the math

You're definitely a kid (age-wise or mentally), you should know resource are limited that's why you must be financially smart. Some people have more than 3 bank accounts. With BVN nobody gets double payments. Every sane country in the world is doing it.

NLC is mad, they're right on the relieving the lockdown but what preventive measures do they want FG to adopt?

you see why we are still having less cases wasn't only because people haven't tested in mass but because we haven't developed community contact as it was in foreign countries

any community contact with everybody going to their normal daily activities might speak doom for the citizens. the best approach is to distribute palliatives genuinely to everyone in the affected states in the country then shut down this states for a week and you will see how this will come to an end
and for how long due u think this is sustainable?

Lockdown is not the best approach to fight this deadly coronavirus we are fight in one direction without knowing the worse which is the economy meltdown and devaluation of currency, hunger, job losses and increase crime rate, fear which will kill many poor Nigeria as it will do little to the rich...the impact of this lockdown brought fear that kill many than the virus itself we should start now to think on the after effect of this one month lockdown and open up the economy and ensure social guard line and enforcement of certain rules and regulations to guard us to survive this pandemic, this pandemic will not end until the vaccine is available.

There is no catch 22 anywhere. Extend the lockdown for as long as necessary even if it is 3 months. During that period people and government must pull together to feed to poor during this period.

What are your own alternative to this lock down

The alternative is for both the federal and state government to realise that there is hunger in the land.

Open up the economy and let workers resume their official duty both government and private company.

Let the government encouraged Nigerians to wear face mask, use hand sanitizers and wash their hands.

The government while waiting for foreign based Medical solutions like the much talked about vaccines should encourage Nigerians researchers to do more research using our local herbs.

Lockdown is too political as it creates easy access for corrupt politician to steal palliative and government money.

You see when this lockdown started, after following cases of Italy,USA,Spain etc carefully I decided to be proactive. I shut my doors to visitors & neighbours( a lot got very offended despite my careful explanation, again I didn't give a hoot) The question remains how effective has this lockdown been? our culture of hugging/visiting will soon come to hunt us even more. People are roaming Streets as if nothing is happening or the virus is a ruse for the elites to loot us dry? Utterly preposterous assumption!
My earnest hopes and prayer is that our folly/indiscretion doesn't cause us to battle a pandemic that will forever remain a sobering and painful reminder of the price you pay when you are outright FOOLISH
how much have u giving to the poor ones today? Cos u sound as if u mean too well

Forget about the number of cases. Focus on the number of deaths. Why are we not recording daily deaths in hundreds or thousands like other countries abroad

obviously your are not being realistic
Hospitals and essential services are still functioning so the sick are being treated
And no, nobody has or will die from hunger
you think people don't die directly or indirectly from hunger or no being able to care for themselves
