Redmi Note 8 - anything present I listed for the 8T but it has a notification LED. It still supports 18W charging but you have to buy it separately.

Aside that they house the same hardware in terms of cameras and processor

The talk of GCam working shouldn't be a question. I clearly stated that RN8 and it use the same camera and processor so you should know the GCam that works on one will work on the other.

I would advice you settle for the regular note 8.


8T will struggle for support later (both hardware and software)
