The Private sector-led Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID) has ordered for 250,000 supplies for tests and another 150,000 extraction kits to fast-track molecular testing for the deadly coronavirus, noting that the reality of the situation at hand was such that efforts must be put together with no stone left unturned in dealing with the scourge.https://www.cnbcafrica.com/africa-press-office/2020/04/20/coronavirus-cacovid-orders-supplies-for-400000-covid-19-tests-to-increase-nigerias-testing-capacity/ 15 Likes 8 Shares

Test-kits are very important, so I am very grateful to CACOVID for this. It is unfortunate that the govt was ready to lock us down but wasn't ready to spend enough money to get sufficient test kits for a nation with 190m people, and the private sector had to step in to get them. However, what they are saying about sharing food and the time the test kits will arrive (2 weeks) suggests that we will be under lockdown for a very long time. Instead of following South Korea's proven method of beating the virus, we're sitting at home and wasting away, unnecessarily. 65 Likes 9 Shares |

Audio Government. So in a population of over a hundred million, 400 000 kits will suffice abi? Given the rate of spread of the virus, isnt it nonsense? Since, they've been saying palliative! palliative! palliative!, Me and my guys never see bread. I don tire! 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Fine! But if they are yet to receive the consignment, then their promises can said to be as good as failed because the Nigerian Port Authority will sure disappoint them either by delaying the delivery or at most fail to clear it for them. The congestion at the port the last time I checked is 99.9% full to capacity. They can't take delivery of what so ever for now. 2 Likes |

Stupid people, another audio strategy to extend the lockdown, one nonentity in a particular post was saying since people survived hunger during civil war , we should sit at home and die of hunger. May thunder locate that guy and fire him 18 Likes |

The reality of this coronavirus is just beginning to sink in. My fellow Nigerians, this is not a time to point fingers or be uncooperative just to prove a point that the government of the day is nothing to write home about... Yes I'm not fan of the present government and warned everyone that would care to listen prior to the 2015 election. But i won't wish for the government of the day to fail just because I want to gloat. That's cutting my nose to spite face. Nigeria belongs to us whether we like it or not! We will beat this! 5 Likes |

When we get men for Nigeria we go come dey sofar..? But I hope they create a very good structure to deliver the relief packages to the people that need them most especially at community level. Leaving it at the mercy of local government to deliver them to the population is as good as not helping, because they will and up prioritising their indigens, if or not you can speak the language good example is some local governments in Lagos state if you are an Igbo or Hausa person expecting to get relief package for local government, forget it..! During the lockdown, here's a little gig for you if you don't mind making 1k per signup you get.
