- Yes a lot will come from the IMF and World bank, that is yet another reform the Ramaphosa has pushed as the old ANC would've never borrowed from the IMF or World Bank.

- The Government has R500 Billion to spend.....that's almost the Size of your entire Economy! they could've bailed out SAA if they so wished

- Yes I know what Economic reforms look like, Its literally my job to know

- Our Reforms are happening, Eskom is being partially privatized, the liquidation of SAA, the fact that the reserve bank is not nationalized, reduction of cabinet size and remuneration, Municipalities can now purchase electricity direct from IPPs , improving ease of dong business, small businesses exempted from industry wage agreements, reducing red tape for businesses, reform of the visa regulations ect ect ect
The 500 will be borrowed. So wait for IMF terms and conditions! I hope they won't tell you to devalue your currency. Its not a fancy thing to go knocking into doors of IMF.Nothing is free there.

500 devide by your current exchange.
500÷19=26billions! That is just the GDP of small nations like Zambia or Botswana. And don't forget, out of that 26 billions, corruption will have to swallow some of it.

Talking about reforms!?..
Reforms are done on areas which were hindering progress. In case of SA, what you mentioned are not real meat.Easy of doing business you are doing just fine,Visa issues are not a big issue either. Most of small businesses are too little in your huge multinationals controlled economy.

The real issues are
Corruption
Labour laws and unions
Electricity prices and reliability.(Privatized or not it doesn't matter)
Lack of entrepreneurship mentality and gov support on SMEs
A huge gov wage bill
Crime
A spiritual problems which u got through xenophobia madness

you made me do my research once again and I found out that Rcc is not a truly a Nigeria company, RCC is a subsidiary of Switzerland headquartered SBI international holdings AG,
The Switzerland company was the one interested In project and the tender was awarded to them only to bring us one of there branch to take on the project kiss.. it's life though.
So your question was who did the completion?
Of course is the same company not Nigerians though, under procurement tendering rules, a project not completed shall not be paid so the funders who were European union had to instil pressure on the SBI company to finish and renovate the whole project.

kazi how many Tanganyikans have been tested...you can only make sober decision based on the number of tests...look at somali..there had little or no testing..they started with 4 an got one guy infected..now their number is higher than us..i think Tz an somali will drown EA..
Am talking about those who died from corona! Kenya has more deaths than TZ!

Mass testing doesn't kill a virus.Mass testing just shows who has it or not.USA with mass testing have buried a lot of souls.SA also are in mass testing, but they have 75 deaths!

Mass testing can only work efficiently if you do that in a single day, countrywide. In that, you can separate the ones who are positive and treat them at the same time without causing more infections

But the current mass testing which are done in US,Italy,or SA are just not effective because are not done in a single day countrywide.

You will not achieve what EAC of the yore achieved and even the current one in ECOWAS. It was more advanced that EU. Right now without TZ dragging their feets - btw Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda - we are nearly where EAC was. You can walk to Uganda and Rwanda as a Kenyan...and do whatever a citizen can do...except voting...all with your national ID (no passport required). The can do the same.

When you talk about Ecobank - you clearly don't know EADB has been in existence since 1967 - and basically KQ was East Africa airline - everything was like one country. You sit exams in kenya and go to university in Uganda or Tanzania.

EAC has a parliament, judiciary, and only lacks a president - for the federation to become a single country. There is even the national anthem. All countries must commit to speaking and teaching Kiswahilia as national language.

There is nothing you mentioned here that we do not have in ECOWAS. ECOBANK is bigger and more organized than your little prick EADB.
Ecobank is outside ECOWAS while eadb remains regional and small.
As an ECOWAS citizen, I can travel to and live in any ECOWAS country without hassles. We use the same WAEC, an examination board.
Your loss making kq is a Kenyan entity not a regional entity. So that's out of the equation. wink

The GDP of ECOWAS is over $600bn while that of your backward eac is a paltry $200bn. There is absolutely no ground for comparison. We attract more FDI than you.

What's your version of Ecomog? Is it another inept eadb?

You've learnt a lot from west Africa concerning regionalization. Don't argue to the contrary. ECOWAS has existed far longer than EAC and has learnt the ropes whereas EAC is a new pupil.

Kazibure, Tanzania gov statistics are not worthy of a bucket of warm spit, because you're massaging numbers and suppressing information. As always - the bad manners from the communism era just won't go away.

You're being fingered by Amnesty International and even WHO.So before we compare Kenya figures with your make-believe figures address these concerns.

You haven't taken ppp into account but it doesn't really matter as R500 billion is still a sh1tton

How are we just fine with ease of business? our goal is to be in the top 50 we are in the 80s at the moment, also I guess you would know why this is important to economic growth, Tourism is a R150 billion industry so yes relaxing Visa regulations is very very important, small businesses make up 34% of our GDP bro!!!!!

- Corruption: I agree, and Ramaphosa is doing a good job stamping out corruption
- Labour laws: I've touched on this in my previous reply
-Electricity: I touched on this, hence why I said IPP are now able to sell directly to clients, also Eskom is being restructured and being partly privatized also how can you say IPPs and Privatization don't matter?
-SMEs: thought you said Small businesses don't matter?
- Huge wage bill: again i've touched on this in my previous post
-Crime: I agree, however a stronger economy will lead to a reduction in crime
-Xenophobia: had a minimal effect on our economy
