The fact is that inter regional trade within ECOWAS is bigger and more organized than what you have in EAC.

Look at our peacekeeping pacts in ECOWAS, look at the regional bank ECOBANK and funding. These are things you lack in EAC due to the relative inexperience that bedevils EAC.
