It is pertinent to also state that prior to that memo there was an issue of corruption in the procurement process in the Min. of Health. The order was meant for the interim to ensure exhaustive investigation into the matter.

It's on record that MTN has commenced payment of the fine after negotiation with the government.

Ok, I apologise for not being updated about the MTN Payment.

and about the Ministry of Agriculture and health debacle as you said he is meant to advice the President and I also believe it was his advice the President issues the directives....Him, being well educated should have advice the President on it dangers.
As an Aid to the President and also an Adviser he should have seen that this will bring about a standstill in the work of the Minis of health thereby bringing about pain and avoidable deaths to people.
If the President had a Problem with the MoH, he should have sacked him and brought in another Person

Like I stated earlier, the decision was for the interim. This was done to allow for investigation into the allegations of corruption in the procurement process.


The CoS to the president is not necessarily an adviser to the president. The president has many SSAs and SAs on various National issues.

The core duty of the CoS is to act as the principal channel of communication between the president and the government. The person also has responsibility for the official programme and correspondence of the President.

The minister of power was actually in that meeting, but some dubious reporters deliberately obscured that info in most of their reports to elicit this kind of reactions from you and from Nigerians. That being said, even if the minister wasn't in attendance, there is absolutely nothing wrong or unusual if a president asks his CoS (a senior presidential aide) to attend a follow-up meeting on his behalf (remember the first meeting took place in Abj with the president in attendance)..
