High Commission of India in Abuja is done with recommendation of all applicants (PhD inclusive). I suggest you wait to December 2020 when the application window will be open and ensure you apply early.

What you saw online is not applicable to Nigerian applicants.

Yes it covers flight to and fro

Well depending on your city - Your first time can be frustrating that you want to go back home but its just adaptation.
If you have so many Africans around you, it helps

Their education system is more cram, pour and pass. Write numerous pages

Culture is different from Nigeria so you would get culture shock even in class but it gets better

Different regions with different experiences
- Male an dfemale sit separately, although this has reduced
- People stare at you everywhere you go, some people even run
- Temples are everywhere even middle of the street
- some offices and shops require you to remove your shoes before entering
- Their dress sense, low exposure level, the way they talk
- Arranged marriage
- No PDA's

and many others

With time you just get used to it
Oh they also speak more of their local language than english, the autos are always ready to cheat you

but we are here
