I have farms in Oyo state and the North Central of Nigeria. When people were clearing bush for me in Oyo state, I took time to stay with them looking for 2 things viz: mushroom and snails. I was luck to see 1 snail where these people had cleared. intact the labourers were afraid of me for seeing a snail where they cleared and they did not see it. The reason was because I still remember how we used to hunt for snails when I was young.
Now the annoying thing is why didn't I see any mushroom? Could it be our siñs these days or just that God had stopped releasing it to us as He used to?
Well, whatever be the cause I tell you I got more condemnation that day because God keep on telling and asking me how many I had planted.
It's true I know how to cultivate mushroom but my thought is how many people still eat mushroom. This continued in my mind until a friendship took me to a restaurant where a plate of food without mushroom was sold for N1500 but that of mushroom was sold for N3500. I asked if I were dreaming.
Since then, I have been training people how to cultivate mushroom but I just discovered people are not aware of this. What do you think could be the cause?
Mushroom is better alternative to red meat yet we are not cultivating it. Are you still getting naturally grown mushroom in your area? Please speak with me
