Lockdown: My Visit To Street Market In Greece (photos) by Nobody: 4:12pm On Apr 25, 2020 |
As my female friends in Nigeria would say 'Saturday is for Owanbe' the current novel coronavirus outbreak: fear and panic has changed the phrase from 'Saturday is for staying at home'. Amid coronavirus lockdown extension in Greece which will be over soon, I paid a visit to the street market in the country. I got to the market 9: 00 AM this morning and Police were already standing everywhere like Goodluck Jonathan visit to Lagos in 2015. Why is there market today when there's a lockdown? The city doesn't have any patient living with coronavirus, every suspected case are being transferred to Larisa. For instance, the cases in 36 states of Nigeria moved to Abuja & Lagos for treatment, so the government announced yesterday that the market should open. More than 50,000 people have violated the country lockdown, according to the record. I will be sharing some of the photos from my today market and the food I ate last week till this afternoon. Please, I want you to understand that all my thread on Nairaland is a contribution to the platform and they are for entertainment purpose, I am not a rich person neither am I showing off. I am still very jobless here in Europe. Check out the photos below. 87 Likes 4 Shares
