Exactly. It depends largely on that because Canadian employers are interested in what you are bringing to the table. A lot of new immigrants don't grasp this early so when they come here, it is extremely difficult to find a job especially in Ontario. I am a good example. Most immigrants like me who people work 9 to 5, paid decently, but have to grapple with the realities of taxation in Canada which is not funny. Applying for a job in Canada is pretty much like applying to a job in Nigeria, you need to show some level of competence on your CV.
First thing first, did you write your CV in the Canadian style? If you havent, do so.

Secondly, you want to get a caregiver job in Canada, do you know that caregivers undergo training in Canada that take anywhere from 6-9months and graduate as personal support workers, continuing care aides etc and this training cost anywhere from $2000CAD? These set of indivituals earn the highest wages in the industry.
Due to the high demand for care workers, a lot of care companies still hire workers without the PSW certificate and conduct in house induction training for them.
So you that is applying from outside the country, dont you think you should at least meet them half way and take a few courses maybe in childcare, eldercare, dementia care, food handling etc

Yes, there absolutely many types like FEEP and more which the steps are as follows:

An overview of FEEP.

Step 1. First, you need to get info about Canada immigration programs, facilities, rules.

Step 2. Get the info about IELTS, study and give IELTS if you are from a non-native English language country.

Step 3. Get your professional skills assessed from Canadian skills assessment bodies (Like WES) for migrants like you need to apply for CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System).

Step 4. Create Express Entry profile.

Step 5. Your profile gets ranked in the Express Entry pool depend on your points.

Step 6. You can get a job from a Canadian employer after you get an invitation to apply (ITA) for Canada.

Step 7. Submit Medical PCC and other Documents.

Step 8. Apply for Canada visa and migrate to Canada.

Others are PNP, Rural Northern and Study Pathway.
