Please where can I download general test exclusively, all I see everywhere is academic. Was able to get 2 general test, 11 and 12,13

The test will launch in countries where IELTS testing has been suspended

Developed by British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge Assessment English, IELTS Indicator will be an interim test for students who want to continue with their applications at study destinations that require evidence English language proficiency.

“IELTS Indicator is an online test that can be taken from the comfort and safety of your home”

It remains up to institutions “determine the suitability of IELTS Indicator for their application purposes”, the organisation noted, adding that test-takers are advised to check whether their chosen institution will accept the test before booking.

The test will launch in countries where IELTS testing has been suspended, with bookings opening from April 22.

“IELTS Indicator is an online test that can be taken from the comfort and safety of your home,” the organisation said.

“The test is available for a limited time while IELTS testing is currently suspended due to COVID-19,” it explained, adding educational providers can use IELTS Indicator to help gauge the English language ability of future students while IELTS testing is suspended.

A number of other testing providers have already announced at-home solutions in response to COVID-19.

IELTS Indicator will assess four skills – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking – in a timed test that matches the structure of an in-person test.

It remains reliable, fair and accurate, the provider maintained, and uses standard IELTS marking procedures, and official IELTS Examiners.

“The Speaking test is delivered via video call with a fully qualified and trained examiner, maintaining IELTS focus on assessing conversational English proficiency,” IELTS added.

I have been getting a lot more people contact me for the materials during this lockdown.

This is what I can do, if I get a number of people who can crowdfund about 14GB of data, I can drop all the materials and video in a Telegram group or upload online as the case may be. pls reach me on WhatsApp at 08038555960.

On registrations, why are you looking for agents? Not in 2020 nah. You can do everything online by yourself, even the complete immigration or admission process. You only need to browse credible sources for all the information you need. To register for IELTS BC or IDP, simply go to their websites and call their customer care if you need clarifications, after lockdown I guess.


Now the other thing I wanted to say ia is this, I noticed many people usually have a challenge with writing. I mean, you can practice and score your L and R by yourself, and since you speak well, you can access your speaking proficiency, but for Writing, most people cannot score themselves, except you are are extremely good and experienced with marking essays.

To help, I am willing to do free writing reviews for 5 persons this month of May. (One free review each).

This is how it will work. Under exam conditions (timing yourself), Write Task 1 and 2 of a practice test you have not done before. Then snap/scan your essay to me and I will mark it, score it and determine your band score giving tips on what you should focus on to improve your score.

Hi guys I saw this mail unexpected yesterday
I was meant to write my Ieltls exam last month April but th exam was pospone indefinitely due to the coronavirejs I saw a mail yesterday telling me that I should choose a date for the exam 22or 30
Which am not realy comfortable with any of the date

Greetings great minds. Looking at the IELTS site, it says they ve suspended test. Any idea if they ve resume test? I urgently need this result this month.

Check again. Seems like they have resumed in Nigeria. At least for Lagos and Abuja.
