We carried out just 10,918 tests. And we have 1273 cases. Note that majority of the tests carried out are for the rich and symptomatic. It is very sad news. Ghana has carried out over 100,000 tests. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Harrynight: It’s the same. But in research methodology, there is what is known as reliability. The more the number of participants, the more reliable the data is. What this implies is that 10000 tests in a country of 200M people is not a statistically reliable data. 2 Likes |

streetpaddy:Very hard decision, people are complaining about the lockdown while there are new cases every day. Will the president relax the lockdown for people sake or will he extend the lockdown just to curb this pandemic? Time will tell. I'm sitting on the fence with leg crossed. 1 Like |

What would become the fate of Nigeria is there is outbreak of covid in Nigeria as in the case of America ? God forbid but if America is going through over 900,000 confirmed cases and over 50,000 then what would become of Nigeria ? paltielx:Contact tracing at which time? We gone passed that phase now. Community spread is now the main cause of transmission and we don't have a proper database or monitoring system. They are no longer doing it. Waste of money and manpower in their view, and unsustainable and ineffective. Their system now is the masses are OYO, and who fall sick fall sick, who die, die, who get luck them fit bring am to isolation center, and they will continue the lockdown to protect themselves and their families before their poor and middle-class slave workers come and infect them in their mansions. 6 Likes 2 Shares |
