Leezah: Tiwa Savage said it some few days ago that the biggest lesson she learned during the lockdown is the importance of savings and investments. It Is the common man, people in the rat race that are their fans. If the citizens are having financial issues celebrities and stars in the entertainment sector will affected. Companies that also spend on entertainment are down sizing, reducing salaries and cutting costs 6 Likes |

abraolas1: Safety of capital is the most important for starters, as you gain experience you can diversify into other investments. So I will advise you to consider Treasury Bills or money market fund. An elderly woman who has been doing Treasury Bills and money market fund for over 15 years after selling her house due to problematic tenants grew her capital to over N200 million. The investment were staggered to mature every month of the year The most important thing is consistence, continuous investment and reinvestment 12 Likes |

For those still collecting salaries whether half or full or cut to any percentage or doing some lock-down business, don't forget to set some money aside for your investment. Little is more than nothing when it comes to investment. With the current realities and for those that are risk averse I will recommend Abacus Money market fund - AMMF or Vantage Guaranteed Income Fund- VGIF both are managed by Investment One. Check my signature for my contact and link to open account online. You don't need cash to open account. 1 Like |

Leezah: I know say you be member, see you at the VIP lounge lol olujaidi: I have been searching but it seems most of our new generation young ladies are into the same line of business. I don't know where to find a good young lady. Could you please look into the picture below, how does the YIELD/bid percentage and YIELD/offer percentage affect the Capital and coupon payments. Looking at these values, how can an investor determine the actual interest rate for the 2021 investment. Let's say for example an investment capital of N100k get a coupon payment of 0,145 x (100k) or (86,200) because the capital at the end of the investment is always lower than the initial invested capital for secondary market, but how the YIELD rates apply is what i am trying to figure out too. emmanuelewumi:

emmanuelewumi: Its easier to make money in Nigeria and go to Canada to buy a property, than for you to make money in Canada to buy property in Nigeria. Why is he not complaining about the security he enjoys, the free education his kids enjoy and the top notch health services he gets?. At the end of the day its always a trade off, You will have to pick what is most important to you. There is no perfect move anywhere. Problem comes when people assume that one country will solve all their problems. Migrants must have realistic expectations. 16 Likes |
