RabbiDOracle, the UK Chancellor has just guaranteed £50k loans for small businesses with no interests or capital repayments due for the 1st year - folks are about to be awash with money. I can't see a reason why some of these won't end up in the NSE. Somebody's interpretation is free £50k for at least the first year that the right opportunities in the NSE might bring.

Na wa, how will interest free loans given to small businesses in order to kick start the economy find its way to NSE?
That is the purpose of the fund.

Life is funny, there was a time I sought for someone's opinion about a stock here. That person was doing as if his analysis was oxygen to the stock's share price, he never knew that company's result was lying on the table of my next door neighbour..... grin

A great result or dividend does not imply a great share price appreciation.... grin
Most times, insiders are burnt beyond recognition above outsiders.... grin

Why is UBN the class monitor of UBA.
Why is BUA putting Pampers for GTB? grin
Why is Zenith on the mountain of fire to replace FMN?... grin

Pls I need some explanation.I didn't have ETI time all this yrs .I have dividend slips from eti from 2012,2013 in dollars figures .Can I claim them in dollar and how do I go about it?
In 2016 I equally got dividend slips covering,2013,2014,2015 as preference shares and in dollars too .How did it change to preference shares and can I equally get the monies in dollars.
In 2017 another dividend slips came in naira but bearing preference shares redemption. I don't get what happened or what it means
All this wahala is because I bought oceanic bank shares and ecobank shares through my analogy broker and paid heavy school fees

Veritas registrar of zenith is very efficient and they dont make such mistake. It has been proved that First Registrars is known to make this mistake.

Yeah I agree, Veritas is quite efficient and very unlikely to do such but First Registrars too in my little experience with them have proven very efficient and I'll be surprised if they do that.

Edit: in fact First Registrars is the reason why I buy FBNH shares for dividend, cos I know I'll get it without sweat or issues. Even if I don't own any FBNH shares for over a year, whenever one buys, without re-filling any e-mandate you get credited.

I am not a prophet, it is better to buy in tranches.

If this lockdown goes beyond ordinary, I see people selling some of their stocks in order to be liquid. Which might make stocks to become cheaper

My heart goes out to @currentprice at this time.

He has traded oil almost exclusively for the past few years.

With the turmoil in the market and the increased volatility seen in recent time, I do hope that he and his trading accounts are fine.

Please anyone who has a method of reaching him directly should do so, let's be sure that he is okay.
He is very much ok sir as he doesn't joke with his stop loss.

Oga Meshpips, while your advice was good, I strongly disagree with the bolded!
You said this simply because it worked for the friend and you predicted that Zenith will touch 10.90 or is it 11.90 or thereabout......again.
Do you know if purchasing Zee at 11 by the friend was mere coincidence?
I just felt your advice was one-sided without taking all other factors/risks into consideration here.
Some people took advice from faceless forum and are doing fine as well, especially when the advice is not biased and, is with a good intention.

Exactly the way it should be done.

May GREEN fall upon you

So long as the warrants are in dollars, just fill your edividend form and supply your domiciliary Account number to them. The money will be paid into that account.

I believe the preference shares has to do with the change with Oceanic.
