If just one bag shows physical evidence of spoilage, what will that tell you about the rest, bearing in mind that they were all stored under the same condition and even labelled as poisoned rice by Custom?

they werent stored in the same condition, the rice came in i batches as it were seized by customs from different smugglers comin in from different countries in different conditions, and rice or any item labbeled as poisonous by customs are immediately destroyed while good ones are sent to warehouse waiting for the date of auction

You know the rice is shipped under different conditions because you work in Custom and because you were there to see the lot number when the bad rice were delivered to Ondo State or Oyo State?

it simple common sense.. customs make arrest and forfeiture all through out the year, and at no point in the news did we hear of 1800 rice bags seized in just a day

Don't mind him. 180 bags out of 1800. Is that not a huge number?

And at what point did you hear custom say it seized rice that was.not poisoned?

Even Buhari asked them to share and they said it was poisoned rice.
But now, you are celebrating distribution of poisoned rice.

Still, you are a dispensible useless pawn on buhari's chess board. grin. Northerners received money, while southwest received rice that custom said is poisoned for human consumption. grin. That's how much value buhari places on your Hailing.

Rich people in South East are giving their people fresh rice and not poisoned rice from custom.

And to think you even still came here to hail your receipt of the rice like a mental slave. Did you sit down for once to ask yourself why the rice wasn't sent to the north? grin grin grin.

Imagine yourself rejoicing for being a mental slave. What a situation! grin grin

Look at this Idiotic Pig and slave of Biafra calling someone slave.

If you want to see a Slave I don't know a slave that is better than an Nyamirin.

You guys should keep deceiving yourselves in that South East when hunger is really whipping you

Rich people are sharing rice in South East or you mean the Eba Ikpeazu is feeding your generation in Abia or your mothers raising tuber yams like Alimajiri. Idiot

Col. Hameed Ali (retd), the Comptroller-General, Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), has urged Nigerians to stop consuming foreign rice because it is poisonous.

He said this on Thursday in Abuja at a news conference organised by the Ministry of Finance.

Ali said that the Federal Government had not issued license for the importation of rice and that any rice seen on the streets that was not produced in Nigeria was smuggled, NAN reports.

He said that the imported rice was poisonous because before coming into the country, it must have spent a minimum of five years in the silos.

“A chemical must have been added to sustain its freshness and that chemical is harmful.

“Also, it has been re-bagged with a new date given as the production and expiry date and that is what we consume here which causes diseases

Ignorance is disease. Consuming product with physical evidence of damage is dangerous. 180 bags out of 1800 based on physical condition. If laboratory examination is used, the numbers will sky rocket.

What if your father reports that all the children he gave birth to are thieves, what other evidence can there be that you and your siblings are not thieves?

Custom said foreign rice is poisoned rice; the same foreign rice is being distributed to you and you are rejoicing.

It is so unfortunate that some people have decided to play dirty politics with the good gesture of the president. It is only normal that some few bags would be bad as a result of storage over a long period of time. Insinuating that Buhari deliberately send bad rice to the south west is evil and senseless.

The same rice was given to all the 36 states and FCT without any issues. Even Oyo State that rejected 1800 bags only showed us one bad bag. It’s good that Ondo State government has come out clearly to correct the misinformation in the public domain.

The bags are stored together if some are spoilt won't other not spoil with time ?
If you are given such rice would you eat it

And what is the use of NAFDAC
Some people who have no choice would definitely eat it and it can affect their health
This lockdown period has shown how the whole government system has failed

Speak the truth and stop being sentimental and partial

He play politics so tey he contact Corona Virus, something that can be avoided! angry

Nice one, Arakurin!

sad sad sad

What brought Seyi into these now? I must tell few of you from SW in particular all these blindness and uneccessary political silly passion you guys attached to apc and buhari doesn't worth it.

So far so good what have you guys gained from buhari till date just mention one thing yet choose to defend a man who cares not about you nor your region.

Tell me what is the contribution of Katsina to the federal purse but all palliative is for the state. All billions donated and disbursement started in Katsina while Lagos still struggling to cope. Pls wake up.

Rice is bad and its bad any bad ones should be return simple as that because bad rice can't go to katsina so leaave story. You can't say because of trying to be a good boy in buhari face and give spoilt rice to your people creating another problem called food poisoning.

Pls wake up. You are praising arakurin because he is apc but lashed Seyi because he is pdp. Na wah for you oo even at this pandemic yet you refused to wake up to reality.
