Antibiotics are not safe in pregnancy, avoid them and do as the nurse advised. After delivery if it still persists, u can treat in full force. Happy bumping to u sis

Please help me out. I was two months pregnant when I started experiencing infection. I went to the hospital and was given these drugs: cikamox 500, greenzoral and another that doesn't have name but BPL written on the tablet. The infection left but soon came back so I visited a health centre and was given flagyl but the infection didn't stop.

I registered for antenatal yesterday, told the nurse all about the infection and she advised me to stay off antibiotics for now, that I should just learn to manage it and maintain proper hygiene. That antibiotics can affect the organs of the baby but I still discharge.

The discharge doesn't itch, doesn't smell, cream in colour and thick. Please mamas in this forum, I need your urgent replies as this is my first pregnancy and I'm really scared of anything happening to my baby.

Nothing will happen to your baby, from your description, it is candidiasis infection(yeast infection) it is fungal so you will need an antifungal not flagyl. But if it's something you can endure, pls do, just maintain proper hygiene since it's not itching you.

If it doesn't smell or itch, it might not be an infection. That's being said, some pregnant experience increase vaginal discharge which stops after delivery.

I would suggest you let it be or try natural remedies.

Am sorry my post might be a bit lengthy but will try to make it short and pls, Am not that good in writing epistles so permit my errors..

late NOV 2019 : fiancee started having symptoms of pregnancy .. The vomiting, stomach cramp, dizziness... tho she had treated infection for 2 months b4 nov..

December: After the symptoms she bought PT which results was negative.. Tho menstural period didn't show up on dec and She started adding weight.

10th January: was so curious, we went to lab for scan which result was negative � as baby couldn't be found in her womb. There was almost commotion with the doc at the lab, my woman insisting she's carrying a baby.. yet her friends at church and hood who can easily notice pregnant women at early stages keep congratulating my fiancee,

I witnessed one when her friend abroad saw her status on WhatsApp and congratulated her,.. preg symptoms persist.

*I had a dream (bit lengthy} relating to 2 eggs which I wanted to fry then fish I wanted to use to spice the egg..I was Enjoying the fish in d dream even b4 preparing the egg.. which I narrated to my church pastor who is also a prophet. He said we should be expecting a baby. and might be twins(2 eggs I saw) then I told him about the symptoms she had been having and the scan being negative then he said the dream I had confirmed her symptoms. Tho her pregnancy might be somehow mysterious .
Then the period showed up at the wrong date. �

Mid Jan: we were both confused.. Belly will protrude then after a while disappear...
My pastor engage her in a spiritual exercise at church which a loin was given to her and others engaged in the prayer session.. Then I was told how her tummy commenced this royal rumble which makes her groan in pains until the loin was untied..�.. My pastor informed me about the incidence and said the loin was specially meant for that spiritual purpose for the preg.


Feb: symptoms persists.. And no menstrual period was seen.

March.. Since preg symptoms exist.. You know that feeling when you know you are preg but the bump is not showing up, my woman seems to be so worried.. complains of the baby hooking her back and legs while walking

We visited the General hospital.. We did widal test, PT and malaria parasites... Results were all NEGATIVE....doctors and nurses on duty didn't believe she's pregnant saying she should treat infection. Tho, I explained about her health records (infection) to the doctor but babe is scared hurting the baby with all the antibiotics she will be given while treating infection cuz she insists and believe she is preg.

April: symptoms still exist..
I read about cryptic pregnancy via Google and her symptoms are just what I read online about the cryptic preg.


Now my question is:
1.could it be the cryptic pregnancy?
2.are the doctors naive to what cryptic preg is about?
3.and hope my wife is safe with this kind/form of preg.

Our dear son came on Sunday, 19th April, at 1:48pm via Vaginal delivery with minimal tears after nearly 4hours of extreme labour pains, weighing 4kg.

God saw me through...and gave us the victory over the devil.

I wish all preggy mums a safe delivery. God shall see you through and you will hold your baby(ies) in your arms.

I no be doctor o, but let me talk small. I believe it's her mind playing with her. She so desperately wants to be pregnant that her body is giving her symptoms. Read up on pseudocyesis. She may need to see a therapist cos I think it's all in her mind.

u dont need to worry about giving birth virginally..when contraction starts it will make way for the baby to pass...if at the point of labour and delivery ur doctor notice u can't birth virginally u will be informed..but u need not worry I was also wondering how a baby will pass Tru there when I was pregnant for my first child..but the way it happened I don't even know how to explain it..God is just too much

Yes you can have a vagina birth. I was very tight before and during pregnancy when it was time for delivery, I was given episiotomy to aid baby and the cut was very light. It's 9 months after and I am still tight and we use lubricant also. So don't fret. Awaiting your testimony when baby is due

Hormonal profiling is best done day 2 or 3 of your cycle for proper interpretation . From my little understanding as a former ttc mama, i will be taking reference from follicular phase i think ur lh to fsh ratio is high(2:1) indicative of pcos but ur dr must establish this diagnosis from transvaginal ultrasound after several scans and close monitoring.
Prolactin is elevated , this is a common problem (dont stress over this as it is easy to treat ; it was the only issue i had while i was ttcing )and is also typical with most pcos sufferers, i would recommend cabergoline(dostinex) though more expensive but effective with less side effects.

For progesterone day 21 is the best day for testing to confirm if you ovulated for the cycle. I cant say if u already ovulated even though it is high as per reference value for ovulatory phase given the test was done on day 10.

I would recommend you repeat the test on day 2 or 3 and on day 21 for progesterone. Above all work with God and your dr.

Honesty speaking from all you said,your wife is not pregnant....it is just her body playing tricks....most times anytime my period is coming,my tummy grows bigger and once period is over,it goes down....your wife is not going through anything spiritual...she should go for vagina swab to test for infections....she will be fine after treatment....Don't worry your babies will definitely come....All the best

Yes I just came back from the hospital and the doctor said I'm just 1cm dilated,and she said if no active contractions before Friday I might be induced,I'm so scared cos I heard Induction is usually painful than normal labor

wow! Induction is not that bad. Had my first and third babies through induction and second through assisted induction cos I was already 6cm but contractions didn't progress. It's the same labour pains as natural just that since it's augumented, the pains come more frequently leaving not enough space to rest in between contractions. Just be active- brisk walks, do squats, dance vigorously, climb steps, eat pineapple core, do house chores. Active labour may start before then. It will end in praise.

did they culture the discharge before giving you drugs? Sometimes, it's pregnancy package not infection. Discard your old pants. Use only cotton pants so the place can breathe.

For the two times I was pregnant, I notice vaginal discharge and itching once I enter third trimester and start to near the end of the pregnancy. I don't take any drugs, I simply insert garlic into my veejay. The relief is almost instant and in 24 he's you will notice the discharge will stop. I don't insert too deeply but if I put it in at night, its comes out by morning. I do this sort of cleanse every two weeks until I deliver cos I don't want it to come back.

this garlic therapy is not for everyone o.. I tried it and my eye see 'wen' na so all my inside begin dey hot, I removed it o sharperly and I wasn't even preggy when I did it.
