Is it not common sense that the latest version of a game will be better than previous version? Technology gets better with time.

Well actually that's not the case most of the time really with technology some things may also reduce like crossing, ball movement

Just play pes 2014 and find out

And besides Konami are focusing too much on the online aspect of PES these days that they forget the offline

For example I heard some people rate pes 6 and the best so I want to hear other opinions

For me any time any day PES 13 is still the best so far for me ............. other PES the cross and nod is just over-powered especially PES 17 useless PES

To the OP question, First of all PES games have always had problems(lack of depth) off the pitch while having great gameplay on it. In my opinion the best of the series were the Ps2 versions (Pes 4, 5 and 6) but if you are after just graphics and gameplay and you don't care about the unrealistic and boring master league and modes then Pes 17, 18 and Pes 2020.
My favorite- Pes 6
Worst- Pes 14 (pls don't play this shittt for ur own good)

Pes 13 was good especially the master league but it had this weird rating system, Messi and Ronaldo fit reach 150 in 2 or 3 seasons.

In fact I'm really surprised that PES 2020 is listed among the best PES released. Game that I had to stop playing so as save my TV.

Everything in the game is designed to be against you including the referee from the bad foul calls, very poor first touch of players, to poor heading of balls. I once played a game in which I had 51 fouls calls against me in first half alone and none of this were hard tackles

There's no difference between playing against Norwich and playing against Manchester City, they all play like they're on drugs with ever accurate sliding tackles. Imagine a player like Gabriel Jesus pushing Van Dijk off the ball.

The only thing I like about the game is the graphics and the free kicks. Any other thing is off for me

To answer the question which is the best PES ever, I'll say PES 17. If you like call it cross & head, doesn't matter it still has the best gameplay experience.

What new features does Pes 20 have, repititive cutscenes? I like master league and Pes has not improved it since 15. Pes 5 & 6 was packed with features and fun to play.

bro yes pes6 was fire no doubts it set the standard for what we know now

but my point is pes16 has a review rating on par with with pes6

the only reason pes6 takes the crown ahead of pes16
