SweetCunt97: Another erroneous statement Sister there are billions of white people and barely ten million of them are reputable scientists so how can I believe everything the white man says? Hundred percent certain of this plenty of the scientists on the team who made this discovery were black or people of color so what's with the whitewashing? |

Jokerman:The irony is, there's no way you will delve deeper into science and not disbelieve the big bang theory..the more you penetrate into the sciences, the more you will see the intricacies, the fine tuning and wonder that is the universe..the more you will realise that there's a thought/reason behind it all.. 2 Likes |

AkpaMgbor: Those scientists know the truth. But ego won't make them accept it Even atheists, their only topic is always, "is there God" ... God wants them to get the answers by themselves and be converted... Lol |

Mummyfour:snakes are not the only venomous creatures, there are other venomous creatures out there like scorpion, stone fish etc and these other creatures are difficult to find and extract the venom, moreover I don't think there is any venomous creature out there whose anti venom is as effective as the anti venom from snake. If snake goes into extinction and human get bitten by another venomous creature(though rare), how do u think u can cure the victim? Also snakes importance is not limited to anti venom, it is useful in the warefare. These creatures need to survive, all u need to do is clean ur environs so they don't come and live with u |

Jokerman:Their ego is so laughable if it wasn't sad and destructive on its own..they reference Einstein in science discussions when not even he dared to think that there was no intelligence behind the universe..na these new wannabe atheist(not scientists o) strut about with those theories...it gives them a sense of increased Intelligence Quotient. |

Jokerman:Man is the pinnacle of 'known' creation and what a wonder man is! A being that can feel emotions, a being that can think of the welfare of other beings he shares the world with, a being that harnessed his world for food, medicine, science, sports, etc...a being that is religious...a being that has dared to go beyond his own world...look at the human anatomy inside out...and some people want to give the accolade to a random one in a billion billion billion explosion that has no thought or reason behind it.. 1 Like |

AkpaMgbor: Lol... You know the devil always like to thwart and deceive people away from God, that's why clowns who haven't even lived up to 40 years on Earth or haven't seen the mysteries in oceans and beyond in Nairaland, will start typing there's no God and they are atheists ... Like St Paul said, "people who reverence the creature more than the creator".. lol.. the Bible already knew ahead sef 2 Likes |

AdmiralDru:You are only partially correct. The natural sciences are all interconnected, so you must have a general knowledge of all related field to be a specialist in your field. It's like medicine, you must have general knowledge of medicine before you can specialize in dentistry, Ophthalmology, E.N.T, etc. An aerospace engineer must have basic knowledge of space science as he is designing nachines that is expected to travel through space - whether on earth or in actual space. If you are talking about roadside electricians and mechanics, then you don't need to know anything goes about space science, but if you want to be an academic mechanic or electrician then you need to understand mechanics and electromagnetism. Mechanics is the study of motion in general and electromagnetism is the study of light itself. Doesn't mean anything. Atheism is simply a lack of belief in God's. It has little to do with science, arts or any other discipline. You will be surprised that some academic theologians are atheists. Billions of years has everything to do with science. When you measure the age of rocks, when you measure the distances of galaxies and quasars to be billions of light years, are these not real science? Science is not necessarily trying to answer how the world came to be. That the goal of the theists. What scientist do is to make observations and look for hypothesis and theories that can best explain and predict the observations.
Wrong precepts. The big bang and evolution is observed indirectly. Galaxies and distant objects is measured to be accelerating away from us according to their red shift measurements, this can only mean that the universe is inflating in all directions. The big bang theory only theorised what would happen if we go back in time, the universe would be deflating until it gets to its starting point - a point. The moment that point started to inflate is the big bang. Besides, the discovery of the the cosmic microwave background (CMB) is the strongest proof of the big bang. The big bang theory was proposed in 1927, and it predicted a background radiation that pervades the whole universe, it was not until 1965 that it was discovered and confirmed. The Cosmic Background Radiation is predicted to be leftover radiation from the Big Bang, or the time when the universe began. As the theory goes, when the universe was born it underwent a rapid inflation and expansion. 1 Like |

AkpaMgbor:What is your bane exactly? You do not understand how the universe came to be by a Big Bang or you do not believe whoever preconceived, designed and created our universe did it by an explosion? Whatever creationist ideas you have are your business, hypothetically since you cannot comprehend the Big Bang being a random act, why can’t you just believe that it was not random but a way for the ‘creator’ to create your universe? Science is based on FACTS, and facts are there is no proof that the universe was created by any being. That is why science calls it ‘RANDOM’. Of course there are creationists in science who ‘believe’ the universe must have been brought about by something but science cannot tell you what it does not know, it tells what it does know. They didn’t just come with the Big Bang, a whole lot of physics and maths accompany what you think is just an explosion, a whole lot of calculations, generations of it. I’m sorry to say you are not qualified to speak on it, because you can not even understand it. How can you refute something you don’t understand in the first place? The Big Bang hypotheses is widely accepted by Astro scientists far more knowledgeable than yourself for a reason, the scientists that dispute it, do so also for a reason. You dispute it because “ITS DOESN’T MAKE SENSE” while not giving a reason. How do you believe the universe was “created”? Mention me when you have something concrete to say. By the way, the chemicals in your brain are responsible for perceived concepts of morality, conscience, emotions. I wouldn’t make too much of those terms if I were you. |

AkpaMgbor:This is not justifiable. So what about god why does he not have a designer? This is just like the argument Aquinas put forward. If an entity can create it must exist and for an entity to exist it must be created. Therefore God was created . I believe man has a creator but I don't believe in the existence of a God. A being cannot be omnipotent and omniscient at the same time. There are some questions we can never answer eg how the world came to be, and who created man. |

AkpaMgbor:Have you read Rousseau's documents on social contracts. Man made social contracts to protect himself thus giving birth to good and evil and thus giving birth to morality. Read up on feral children like the wild boy of aveyron. The boy had no knowledge of morality, society or good and evil. (a French doctor Monsieur Itard helped him develop these though it didn't even go far) children are born with an empty mind, it is the parents and society's duty to install morals in the child. Besides if we were to go by the Bible's definition of morality we would have still been slaves, there would have been religious intolerance (thank Locke for eradicating that), there would have still been so called holy wars. |

Fucsheetup: We want you to believe along with other scientists that the big bang was formed by God. Scientists states that universe is about 14 billion years i.e when the big bang event occured and then expansion continued from there... We ain't arguing, our argument is that God is the centre of everything |
