Please i need advice from the experts.

I am presently applying to schools. No admission yet. I am presently saving as well. Keeping money in the Bank dormiciallary account can sometimes make you withdraw to spend during times of need. So my question is should i open a Blocked AC now and start saving my money there on a monthly basis? that way i would not spend it. I have a specified amount i deduct from monthly salary for my savings. If yes, can i open Finitiba? Your feedback is much appreciated!!
Thankss

You can't fund more than three times ,that is to say you cannot make Block Account payment more than three installments, else your source of fund will be questioned.

Hello, I want to apply for a masters programme in Germany, but I've misplaced my Original Waec certificate, Please will I be needing it at any point during the process?
I still have the computer print out and a scanned copy of the original waec on my email address.

Note that I am applying for a masters programme and I already have my Statement of result with me.

Thanks a lot @datOnitshaboy and @Irabor1990 for your support, God bless you both.
The bank said they've received a confirmation to transfer the money back and I was told it will take 3 to 4 weeks. The point is that someone in Germany helped me to send the money to Fintiba. I already got in touch with the person,I will like to ask if Fintiba will send me a mail to notify me after they have send the money back to the account?

Thanks for your time always and God bless you.

Hello good morning. please I have posted a lot of questions here but no one has answered me yet.

Please I would love to move to Germany to start my education again. Naija is killing my dream.

I'm already a 200lvl student here in Uniben.

I just want to know the basis and all the financial commitments involved please

I await your reply.

I want to start BSC afresh in a free tuition university and a science course.

How do I find a list of universities that are free. I have a lot of questions please

You will need your 100 level transcript. Search through www.daad.de for schools

It's good that you are determined to leave Nigeria for better life.

Since you are already in 200 level, it's easy to gain admission in German institutions. This is because 100 level transcript is needed together with your waec/neco to be qualified for admission for b.sc in Germany.

Search for institution on www.daad.de and start from there.

You can use Google and search for the name of the course, the universities offering the course will pop up then you go to their website and do your research or use bachelor study portal. Most public schools are free but when researching also check the fees and funding page to be extra sure. Most Bsc programs are in German language but I am sure you will see a few English taught courses.

Starting now ahead of next year is good. You need to get your 100level transcript ready. I'm sure you already know the Blocked amount is €10236. Also put it into consideration that you might need to use uni-assist for your application.
Travelling to study in another country needs a lot of patience and planning is not something that you can rush into so you need to plan and then take so many things into consideration also remember that since you're going for another BSC you fall under category B so just zero your mind that there will be a long wait for visa interview date.

You can notarize at High Court or any notary body. Yes, no matter the location you are applying to even if it's not Germany WAEC is required so yes it is needed. It is also part of the documents that is required for visa interview. The school you are applying to would also asked for your WAEC it's an important document.

Can I apply for more than one university at a time to stand more chances?

How can one make such applications? I totally new to the process. Please I hope you do not mind to explain in more terms to me.

Most of the question you asked have been answered many times and I'm sure the reason you are not getting answers as you think.

1. You can apply to as many number of schools you see both with google search and daad.de.

2. Go to the website of the university and you see all the application requirements and processes.

I just need first hand explanation and the basis of it all.

Did you see any institution of your choice?

And what are the terms bro?!

You might want to make the search on www.daad.de/en

You’ll be able to search in English here.

When picking the schools that have your choice course on this website, ensure you check that the part where tuition is written has “none” in front of it.

None; not varied, or a particular amount no matter how small.

If you have written IELTS/TOEFL, you can pick schools that require IELTS/TOEFL.

If you haven’t, time’s fast running out. You might want to give the schools that accept an English Proficiency Letter (EPL) from your current school.

I hope this helps.

The ancestors in the house will help too. Don’t despair.

Someone said something about having a blocked amount of 10000 euros and category B visa.

Most institutions in Germany are tuition free but to enjoy it, you need to show that you are capable of taking care of your living expenses. That's where blocked amount of €10,236 comes in.

Before you are given visa, you need to open to open a block account and fund it with the substantial amount of money.

Due to influx of international students, German government decided to categorize students based on their German level, certificate etc so they created two categories namely A & B

Category A is for students with German Language certificate, German taught masters, first class bsc, PHD program and Scholarship.

Category B is for people with 2.2,"second class lower" and others

These category A & B are for those who have gotten admission. After admission, the next step is to apply for student visa. I hope you find it helpful

Prost

Thanks. I appreciate your reply.

please can you explain what you mean by blocked amount and category B more for me. Thanks. I'm already a 200lvl student here, does it add anything to the process?

It doesn't add to the process. Like I said your 100 level transcript is sufficient you can add that of 200 level if you want. The essence of the 100 level transcript is that's what they use to evaluate you, as you won't need to do Studienkolleg again. Ordinarily one cannot jump from secondary school into BSC with only WAEC in Germany you will have to do Studienkolleg which is tough because it is entirely in German language.
The blocked amount is the money you would use to open a blocked account to cater for your needs for one full year. The money will be released to you in bits on a monthly basis. It is a visa requirement and there is no way around it except you get a scholarship or sponsorship letter. The best still remains BA.
For the category B please visit https://nigeria.diplo.de/ng-en/service/visa/student-research-and-language-course-visa/1015536 and read through for better understanding.

If you are ready to start this journey you need to read and read, travel blogs, study blogs, even previous threads of German students visa to gain more knowledge about Germany and be ready to make research about it. People may not be here to answer your questions all the time so you need to help yourself.

Ciao

OK thanks. I haven't written any of those exams.

If a school requires it, I have to get English proficiency letter as an alternative?
