Arrewa is a Yoruba man pretending to be Hausa Fulani.

Igbos need to start ignoring that Afonja. He is a yoruba man and I can bet my life on it.

See your poverty ravaging region

Na only IDP camp pictures you dey post since oo!
You haven't posted a single picture of a neighborhood or street in Maiduguri yet. Please get your facts before drawing comparisons. It may hurt you later.
I served in Katsina state in 2006. During orientation camp, our endurance trek took us through the bush and at the tail end of the trek, we passed through the State Secretariat on our way back to the camp. What we saw there was so beautiful to behold. Many of my fellow corpers from the South, West and East were abusing their governors back home when they compared what they had seen with what obtained back home. Our orientation camp was the newest and 2nd best in the whole country as per NYSC standards. The late Governor Umaru Musa Yaradua, later President of Nigeria, really developed that state. You could sleep on the roads in Katsina without using mat. The inside walls of the drainage of new roads were finished with fine decorative stones, the kind that they use to finish some fences in those expensive estates here in Lagos.
I personally have traveled around the North and also the East for some projects. If I were you, I will never compare North and South East in terms of infrastructure. They are way apart. Some parts of the North are far more developed than the South West, talkless of the South South.

Borno, the home of peace!

E no go better for Boko Haram for turning the state to a killing den.

I remember I read a book then sometimes in 2011 which the author claimed that Maiduguri got lot of beautiful houses and planning and used to be a residential abode for rich northerners.

Although I can’t verify that claim coz I’ve not been there before. But a view of Maiduguri from google earth reveals it’s still a nice city even with all it is passing through currently.
yeah is a nice place I have been there once

You can't see me attacking northern states or their people because majority of them respect themselves here, but I realized the idiot has found ways attacking southeast in any given opportunity, tell me what's Aba business with this thread and you expect me to look and pass? It's not possible, when you respect yourself I will return the respect back, you can't drag my people down and expect me to give you handshake or smile and look other way.
Good job brother. God bless you? Keep it up. You're truly a warrior!! A one man army? They should continue hating, while we continue progressing. Shameless, useless, poverty stricken animals.

Modern beautiful Maiduguri - like all northern Town's and cities.

Nigeria, the country where wealth is produced in the south, but modern development infrastructures are abundant in the north. No thanks to Igbo vs Yoruba disagreement.

to burst your bubble, no part of Nigeria is developed.

yet talking of development in the Nigerian sense, were these northern cities developed because of the ingenuity of their people or the plundering of another region by successive northern federal administrations to build infrastructure in northern areas?

yep... The only places that is highly affected are Borno villages!

Some of these villages are soft targets for Bokoharam because they're close to forest and have no enough military presence!

If you've been to maiduguri there's no way you won't like the city!

Social life in that city is massive!! Have been there twice

Two remaining state I must visit before leaving this earth is borno state and sokoto state.

Till date pleatue state is still my favorite state.

even though abia has worst leaders u cant compare abia wit maidugri, only,d,volume of biz dt goes in aba is greater than d whole of borno state, some of u,guys wey no dey travel pass their locality, we dont need to be sentimental in everything lets face facts, even aba wit its bad roads is still far better than borno and, adamawa combined together

Nairaland this is my view, In the history of Kingdom of Kano this mystical death ve not happened. Kano State Government should go back to drawing board to know the reason for d mystical death in Kano. Mallam Sanusi was dethroned mysteriously and after that death hit the 200 years kingdom mystical. reason for Kano State Government.
