to burst your bubble, no part of Nigeria is developed.

yet talking of development in the Nigerian sense, were these northern cities developed because of the ingenuity of their people or the plundering of another region by successive northern federal administrations to build infrastructure in northern areas?

To also burst your bubble, are you aware that the state governments in the Niger Delta receive 13% derivation of revenue by virtue of the oil revenue generated from the Niger Delta? What did they use it for? They get more federal allocation than many of the Northern states.. did they use it to develop their states? Capital No!

Until you hold your governors accountable rather than focusing only on the federal government, there will be no appreciable development in the Southern states!

so you are justifying feeding-bottle style operation of your country and asking where's the developments? how do you expect people to demand proper governance on the basis of always begging for some prop from a central government so far away from their villages?

do you even know 13% derivatives started in 1999 while oil exploration has been going on for well over 50 years in some of those communities? you trying to form ignorance on the losses of both human and commercial capacity these exploration have caused?

you can't point out one single country in the world that has developed with the government style of Nigeria.
a country that never cares for merit.
a country that encourages laziness in her officials and citizens.
a country where one of the best jobs you can land is being in government, is not a progressive one by any stretch of the imagination.

most of the people here trying to big up their regions haven't been to any country with a working system, the rest are just being mischievous.
you are swayed by a few painted roads and traffic lights, is this 1924? abeg make me laff.

Kaduna is a Gbagyi ancestral city. It does not belong to Hausa fulani in any way okay?

Hausa fulani land is Zaria and the boundary between Zaria & Southern Kaduna is at Jaji!

Kaduna is no way in hell a Hausa fulani city.

No, the comparison should be based on Igbo land vs Hausa land.
Is Core-north an ethnic group?

is representing his ethnicity, why don't Arrewa represent his own?

yep... The only places that is highly affected are Borno villages!

Some of these villages are soft targets for Bokoharam because they're close to forest and have no enough military presence!

If you've been to maiduguri there's no way you won't like the city!

Social life in that city is massive!! Have been there twice

I was born in Bama I grew up in mairi village.. I know Maiduguri in short Borno state very well. It's a nice place. Lol. I missed Tashan kano. Where we buy grasshopper fried as we start our journey.

What I saw is not a few painted roads and traffic lights.... maybe that's what you saw on Nairaland or Google but I am talking of what I have seen physically, not on the internet -roads, schools, organised transportation, health centers & other infrastructure. Take a time out and travel up north to see for yourself, don't base your conclusions on what others say but on facts. I only speak facts and not hearsay.

If indigenes of various states will not hold their governors accountable for all the funds they have received in 21years of democracy, they will keep on wailing till death and nothing will change.

BTW, even the governors, senators and representatives of the so-called states are not looking forward to a break up of the country because of their gains. So if your so-called leaders are enjoying the party and the cookie jar called Nigeria and you, the people keep voting them and their party into power every election year, I conclude that both leaders and followers are both unserious about the general progress of their people.

I'm done. All the best in life!
