It wasn't funny at the time, but its funny now

1. When my dad just bought Nokia 3310 , very expensive at the time, he was gathering money to buy SIM card grin grin another priceless possession...He warned me not to touch the phone (he kept it on top of the cloth hanger ).I was about 7 at the time, I was a playful and extremely inquisitive child, my sustained inquisitiveness led me into my current career path as a programmer.
Anyway, some days later he found a scratch on the screen of the phone, called me and asked me why I still went there after he warned me...In all honesty I didn't touch it, but he didn't believe me.

He flogged the living day-light out of me, he flogged me so much that I confessed to a crime I didn't commit.I had to admit to what I didn't do

Years later I reminded him :

Daddy, see that phone that year, yes, the one you flogged me so much for , I didn't touch it, I was innocent....Baba was shinning his teeth grin grin grin, no apology till today grin grin grin

I am married now, my children must hear this as soon as they are born, I would send them to torment him on why he punished their father unjustly grin grin grin

grin grin grin grin grin

I remember a cherubim and Seraphim family I grew up in Lagos. One day, the father was beating one of the children and when cane landed on the boy's head he shouted 'ELI ELI LAMASABATHANI" translated "My Father, My father why have you forsaken me".

The father and every one around marveled at the promptness and relevance of the quotation that day.

Till this moment, I still laugh at that.

I hope this is not another open lie.

GSM was introduced by OBJ in 2002/2003. About 17 years ago, you were 7 years. Meaning you're now just about 24 years.

How many children do you have now? At least we are happy your wife is not a baby-mama.

I still find it hard to believe this fabble.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your story.

I applied aboniki into my aunt’s eyes cos she mistakenly applied to mine. I was seriously flogged by my uncle with a very robust cane.

After the beating , I went out to buy Fanta and drank while crying . I was a very stubborn child . undecided

I’m now an adult and looking so calm like a dove . grin which was a far cry from what I was back then. My mom used to sew new uniform for me every new term cos Na so so fight I Dey fight . Both with girls and boys.

When I was in jss2, my mum sent me to get some stuffs at a market nearby. it shouldn't take 10 minutes at most on a normal good day. so I branched in game house to play some rounds of ps2. I got carried away until it got really dark. my mum came to the game house looking for me. I spotted her and I hid in between two guys so she didnt see me but she had the feeling I was around there so she hid around. as I was sneaking out, she grabbed me by my shirt.. haha enough beating that night.. I was crying like a ram

So as a JSS student in a boarding school in Imo State, I sneaked out to look for somewhere to buy milk for soaking garri, as my provision was stolen.

That was my first time of leaving the school compound, though I knew of the small gate behind Rev Sister house. My dear, I didn't know the school was inside forest. I kept wandering inside bush until very late.

Na for Dining they discovered I was missing. Village vigilant was alerted, everybody enter prayer for school. Tender me, with hungry eye, I no know north from South again, I thought I turned back, not knowing I was wandering even farther into the bush.

Na that kind 2am of the next two days them see me. (they said they saw me around 11pm of same day shaa, but I don't believe, the waka wey I waka be like 2 days waka).

I cry sotay tears finish for my eyes.

That time we live with grandma, has tough as our childhood was, we never Huck, instead we follow our friends dat huck around, for instance if I follow my friend it will be tru out the day, we came back at night and part ways. At Grandma's house we have alot of corners, I will sneak in at nite and went to one corner pretending I've been sleeping there since morning, as if grandma is daft grin she will give u food that nite and later wake u up in the middle of the night to beat the hell out of u. The most amazing part is that we children Sleep together den... because we are very young, immediately grandma start beating me others will wake up and run for their dear life because they don't know who is next grin grin grin

Another one is.... Whenever you offended do not call neighbors to beg on your behalf, hmmmm na die ooo. If you do that, she will pardon u for that moment, sha follow the neighbor and don't sleep with her in that house, else, you will explain the reason why u offend and the reason why u think neighbor should come and beg her, as she is beating she will be asking you your offense and also asking if you will do that next time, hmmm who born u to say you will do that next time, we are talking about long òmórogun hr grin grin grin

In these days of Corona virus pandemic, tensions are high but we just have to calm our nerves a bit

So let's share our funniest experience during our teenage days.

Mine - After our WAEC exam in 2014 my friend took his girlfriend home, he was a virgin then and the girl had sex just once. During the sex rump, the girl cummed so hard that she passed out and stopped moving. My guy started sweating and crying. He called me when she refused to wake up after 1hr.

In his words "Kaluxy! You know say your popsy na police, how many yrs imprisonment for murder case "
Very funny... Hahahaha

when I was about five years old, my dad made a law that no body in the house should speak pigin English. either English or Urhobo.. that night was a solemn night for everybody. we were are so mute until he left for work the next day... on returning the next day from work, he enquired "where is makpo"...? no reply" he repeated it like three times, I got tired and decided to try my luck in answering as a waffi girl.. I replied "he is chopping for palor".. see laugh, everybody crawled out of their hiding place, the boisterous laughter that followed was something I could never forget.. and that was how the English matter ended.

When I was in JSS3, we finished our exams and had this free period to roam about the school and environs

It was a boarding school, so I was supposed to escort a friend to a bank. After our lunch, we hurried out of school. I didn't have the chance to return my spoon to the hostel, so I put it in my pocket

Got to the bank and while we were walking in, I just heard a clinging sound.....My spoon don fall sad

The people around turned and looked at me, but I just walked away as if it wasn't mine.

It's a moment I still think about and smile grin
