2010 Lexus is rx350 not 330.
Both vehicles are not close price-wise: a 'good' rx350 2010 is more than #4m, while a 'good' 2013 Camry should be around #3.6-3.8m (XLE Abit more though).

Camry easier to maintain. Camry more fuel economical (esp as it is available in 2.5L 4plugs) while all Lexus are 3.5L v6 (2010 rx350 precisely), Toyota parts generally cheaper to purchase than Lexus which is the luxurious version.

A good RX350 2010 is nothing less than N5.5m presently, use to be much more than this. With current situation it should cost over N6m when you factor exchange rate and new custom duty

Mmmhhhh I get your point but I usually laugh whenever I see those ad of 2010 rx350 for #6m thou (I have a unit each of 2012 and 2013 rx350 with mouse, excellent condition for #6m) https://www.nairaland.com/5391599/2012-lexus-rx350-vin-070468#81799728 (Op, sorry for advertising on your thread)

I won't want to go deep into the current situation; I don't want to use another man's thread to do that. grin

Probably closer to 5m, but I guess we're just splitting hairs at this point.

I have stated it on another thread previously that tokunbo vehicle does not have uniform price, you sell according to how much you bought. You don't expect a clean title vehicle bought from a dealership to cost same price as accidented auction vehicle

Yeah you right but how many Naija dealer/seller/user would buy a 2010 vehicle from US dealership; ratio 1:1,000,000 grin.

We all know the reality and it is different from assumption bro.

It is even advisable to buy such year model 2010 from auction accident than buy non-accident dealership which is often high mileage and/or even transmission or engine damaged, if u know you know.

Indeed. I see to reason to buy a 5 to 10 year old car from a dealership. If you can't get it cheap from a private seller, go the auction route.

Dealerships are sneaky af.

Baba 90% of my vehicles are either from dealership or direct owner and some instances I pay inspectors to go check and give me there 50 point report

Don't even bother to compare auction vehicle to dealership vehicles, auction doesn't give give you the liberty to check and most times when your auction vehicle arrives you are faced sad

Dealership insist you come inspect vehicle and auction you rely on information put out by the auction site. Do you know how many people has bought vehicles from auction and vehicle ended up with more issues than reported, including bad engine and transmission, etc

A good Camry 2013 XLE isn't less than #4.5M.
That is like #1M more than L, LE and SE, we can't watch you call that 'a bit more'.
Put some respeck on our XLE's name.

Besides, someone who can buy a #3M and above car has no business with fuel management biko.

Really #1m shocked. Okay let's break it down: (I hope u agree) trucking, shipping and customs duty is same for LE, SE and XLE; therefore the additional amount is for/from the vehicle purchase right? Now, #1m is about $2400 (using current FX). Therefore your postulation is that a Camry XLE is about $2000 more expensive than LE and SE version grin grin grin. Permit me to say if u know you know.

He asked about fuel economy and I responded accordingly wink.

I was even judging by your own estimation since you were sure 3.6M-3.9M is the range of price of other variants of Camry '13.
I am sure of the price of XLE, a good one isn't less than 4.5M unless you are buying from those dealers who do nothing but sell lemons.
If you were sure of the prices of L,LE and SE and I am frigging sure of the price of my XLE. What is the price difference again? Unless you will admit your estimated 3.6-3.9M isn't realistic.
4.5M price is my personal done deal not hearsay. Besides my argument is that 'a bit more' like the difference isn't obvious. angry

At the last line, okay o.
XLE is mostly 3.5L V6 anyways, even some SE.

yes, 3500 for a completely and totally wrecked car, with all airbags deployed. If you have no information, just shut up. You will never get a run and drive, with intact airbag with key present 2013 camry XLE for that price. Never. Even in this coro period. Never.

All I stated are reality and I also included (estimated) figures/calculation to back it up. 'Like #1m' (#360 or even say #420 FX rate - $2500 average) is too steep a difference between such year model vehicles be it popular brands like Toyota and Honda either from dealership or auction.

Check my profile and see if I buy/sell lemon smiley.

Deltel put up accident-ed 2012 Camry SE for sale in 2018 and the selling price was 5.2 million naira.
Imagine and he dragged me for buying FOREIGN USED 2013 XLE for 4.5M in 2019. A car with no single ish. He was even throwing tantrums with his alternate.
This is why I don't take Nairalanders serioulsy, pretenders.

Truth ain't for everyone actually, it is not rocket science to know 2018 to 2020 ain't the same; customs duty wasn't #1m for 2012 vehicle in 2018. Purchase price of a 5-6years old vehicle won't be the same for a 8-9years old vehicle (depreciation wink). I never dragged you for buying any vehicle not to talk of price, not my business and will never be.

I am not hiding under a keyboard, you can easily get my name - full names, picture and address right here on Nairaland, so why would I go for an alternate moniker (I don't tie myself to anyone's spring) to achieve what? My responses to you have been polite believing you were here for intelligent discuss. I don't indulge in mudslinging please.

PS: If you so sure of yourself or your vehicle (or whomever bought it for you), post the VIN number here undecided. I can spare some time right now.

Comes out to right about 4m, no? Clean title, albeit with an accident in its history.

Fact is, anyone who buys a 2012 Camry for 4.5m in 2020 has gotten a pretty poor deal. That's ES350 money.

Whatever gives you the satisfaction you desire is appreciated.
2012 SE was 5.2M in 2018 and it already depreciated to 10 naira in 2019 which was when I bought mine.??
Even with the obvious difference, you are a joke.

5.2M - 4.5M
