Ghana - economic growth fuelled by oil.

It is unfortunate that the government boasts GDP growth of 6.3%, but about 4.5% of this growth happens in the oil sector which only employs very specialized and skilled personnel leaving the real sector with just less than 2% growth.

They are South African owned companies

secondly you never mentioned the subsidiaries in your post, you just straight up claimed MTN, Anglo Gold and Goldfields are all of a sudden Ghanaian companies.

If you said MTN Ghana then no problem(I probably still would of told you that it is SAn owned though wink ) ..... Also im relatively certain Anglogold and goldfields operate as external Companies in Ghana and dont have subsidiaries there.
no one said they are not SA owned companies

are they operating in Ghana or not?

The discussion was, companies in Ghana and companies in Kenya.

And i told you for a fact that according to the companies Act
A company by establishment is a separate entity from it mother company.

They have their own directors, coo, cfo and etc

you and the person you are quoting are dumb

Ghana mineral sector growth is 2%
while the none mineral sector growth is 5.4%

Government has set a target of 6.8 percent growth in overall GDP, and a non-oil GDP growth rate of 5.4 percent for year-end 2018.

speak with fact and not speculations and stop complaining about your underperformance

And? That still doesn't make them a Ghanaian company..... Just like McDonald's isn't a South African company just because they operate in SA.

They ask you which Ghanaian companies boasted an X amount of turnover....you then said MTN, AG, and goldfields which are not Ghanaian companies.

I don't care if it is a separate entity, it is still owned by the parent company which has majority share and thus in charge of decision making.

And?

I know. They are 3m peasant farmers. Each farmer has kids. Total people who depend on the peasantry are nearly 20M. And those are people who live in rural areas. Cross-checked. Cross-referenced.

See you're not dealing with South Africans - you're dealing with Kenyans - with better education standards and more worldly view than you can fathom.

Give up already.

If there's someone who will defend the indefensible its this nigga! Listening to him the apartheid crimes were simply misunderstandings but Idi Amin, Rwanda '94 etc etc were worse. Also South Africa will turn immediately and irrevocably into Zim 2.0 and ofc the Whites are better land users blah blah blah.....
Its tedious AF!

the reason it will only take Jesus himself to heal Kenya

""Some 4m Kenyan shillings ($37,000; £30,000) has been spent on tea and snacks, while 2m shillings has been used on airtime for staff, according to the ministry's budget"".

""The money was part of the $9.3m donated by the World Bank to Kenya for emergency response during the pandemic.""

Really YouTube...Anyway I discussed how those biased list are made....you want to impress me and not the cheap talk then show me something that beats the road in that video...
Fyi that is an American style of road...if you've been to the US you will see it has similar style with their intersections over there..

The List are made by your fellow Nigerian. It's infact a Nigerian channel which Breaks down Statistics given by the global competitive report so you just can't call them biased.

Lol what is this Kenyans standard cos I do think see it in your cities...I strongly believe that who ever is in-charge of your urban development be shot in the ass....
Is it this Mombasa with narrow ugly broken down roads you are talking about..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jb8qi1QS3Ec

Lol watch this one to the end so you will see how this white man described mombassa..he talked about the poor ugly infastructure littered around and the poverty Vividly present in the people..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GxTncg7YhM

Even in your videos Mombasa still looks great.
What you call Cities in Nigeria are actually refugee camps in Kenya. When you talk with inferiority complex syndrome one would think Enugu is Dubai but in real sense its a mere village grin

Dude your 2nd pics is not Enugu city but a townie-village(Nsukka) that is at the outskirt of the city (over 70km away from Enugu city).....and your 4th pics which is supposedly Enugu happens not to be in Nigeria....
Instead of being deceptive with your pics why not sit your ass down and chill on some videos about that beautiful green city....And lest I forget Mombasa us a joke...we shouldn't even be talking about that..

For the fact that most of them are merger even sell them out. Ghana and South Africa both owned them. the only stand out South Africa business in Ghana is MTN and that was before, it has now become a public listed property with about 30 percent stake allocated to Ghanaian. that will soon improved as times goes.
