Nigerian govt in their usual manner have started playing politics with this pandemic! If truely the numbers are increasing as we have seen, lifting partial it total lifting of the lockdown should not be an option right now! The govt should have focused on cushioning the effective of the lockdown on the masses! We might just be heading for a disaster with this clueless govt!!! 1 Like |

litigator: Well, I thank God for my family and the abundant divine perfect health we enjoy... That said, Governor Sanwo-Olu has already advised those with underlying health conditions to stay back at home. It is NOT by force for them to go out. Nigeria CANNOT grind to halt because some people are at risk of falling sick due to Coronavirus. For those who are NOT sure of their health status, they will also do well NOT taking the risk by venturing out. Are we good now |

bignene: 51 deaths , have we put into consideration the rumoured high number of deaths in KANO? This is very worrisome. The risks involved is High. Just do your BEST to protect your health. The virus is microscopic in nature. Wear face mask and eye googles. Develop a hygenic routine once you get home, dump all clothes into your washing machine or wash basket and immediately take a bath. Gods grace will see us through. |

Why has NCDC stopped releasing the names of the people that died of Coronavirus. In the beginning they gave the names, ages and location of deaths recorded. Now they only give numbers and NO names to deaths. NCDC should be more transparent in this matter. People are losing confidence in their operations! |

[quote author=kamez post=89009222]Said it before and im saying it again, ending the lockdown is a bad idea..... for those who can afford to stay at home, i ll advice u to do so... For those who cant help but go out to hustle, i wish u luck.. For those of u attacking people like us for insisting that the lockdown should continue, this should be a wake up call to double ur hustle in life....if u have been working for over 3yrs and u still dont have enough savings in ur account to keep u and ur family under lockdown for at least 3months, then my advice to u is that when all this corona virus issue is over, pls re-evaluate and re-plan ur life..... work harder and smarter... shalom Honestly this is the funniest and dumbest comment have read here so far, for you to be able to feed your family for 3years while indoor is not sign of how wealthy or financially bounty you are but how lazy you have wired yourself to be comfortable in every situation you find yourself. Let me call your attention to something! Dangote as Nigeria richest man has never closed any of his company since lockdown, in short, do you think he doesn't a attend meeting? Even richest and largest economically country in the world have been have been working tirelessly despite highest number of cases to make sure that people are back to work. So for you to think that because you have money to feed your small family for two years is your greatest achievement, therefore, country should lockdown indefinitely is OK. No problem. |

franksunny:the fear of what to eat is d greatest of all fears bro, lemme tell u, d reason why most of u are clamoring lockdown extension is because u've probably stocked food at home, hungry people would never reason like dis, and Moreover, how are we to be sure that NCDC isn't manipulating figures, alaye CoronaVirus is just for 14 days after which u might die or live, ulcer is lifelong, I see no reason why people should go hungry because of a virus dat has less potency in hot environments, let's go out and work, whoever dies of corona, it means his time is up...And I'm sure whenever NCDC is tired, they'll stop manipulating figures..#relax_lockdown 1 Like |

How can anyone please Nigerians? The same people that shouted hunger, hardship, no money, who never even observed the lockdown, are now afraid again to go out and look for food. The projected number of people that Lagos state expects to be infected according to the Commissioner for Health is 39,000. If we observe the guidelines very well, it will be scaled down to 13,000. This should be a serious concern to all Lagosians and move us into been more responsible Nations with worse case scenarios are opening up their economies. American, Iran, India South African are into partial opening of their economy All we need to do, is just be responsible citizens, observe the guidelines, stay at home, when you have no business going out and the rest, God will do for us in Jesus Christ name. Amen 1 Like |
