pretty1986: Good evening fam, I think you are correct. I don't know whether universities in the UK use to contact prospective applicants, I have experience with Canadian institution, it not common. After being accepted at Exeter, I still want to have alternative should in case as advised on this platform. I applied to Huddersfield university, university of Greenwich and Reohampton. I completed for greenwich at a go and received unconditional offer the fourth day but did not have time to complete for the other two. To my surprise, I received more than three emails from both. I later replied them that I will complete later. Reohampton called me on Monday, I missed the call, they called back on Tuesday to check what was delaying me. They promised to give me discount and sent me links for international scholarship, likewise Huddersfield. I stand to be corrected if I am wrong. Just my observation. Peace. 3 Likes 3 Shares |

AlFath:. Thank you for being my witness. International students are making wonderful impact in UK economy, so they cannot afford to lose them.watch and see the rate at which UK embassy will give student visa this year.they may likely waive some certain criteria for students. Uk government seems to be desperate for money.pls I will love everyone to take that opportunity, even though ur plan is to settle in Canada.because u can easily relocate to Canada from UK than from Nigeria. 11 Likes |

Why so many hidden posts? What did I miss? Lol when we called for proper moderation of this thread, just wise thought we was wilding. Dem just dey start. NB: Point is, the opinion of someone ALREADY in the UK more often times than not, is much more valuable than someone who has never been to the UK. |

LagosismyHome: No reduction in school fees. I already made deposit for may intake and they are giving me four options. A. Continue the May batch and commence in late July and class might initially be offered online B. Defer the deposit to September 2020 and class might initially be offered online C. Defer the deposit to Jan 2021 and class might initially be offered online D. Request for a full refund of your deposit. Yesterday I opted for option A with hope that between now and July ending things will go back to normal but on the other hand even the school can not say for sure when normal class teaching will commence. My worry is what if this pandemic does not slowdown as estimated. As long as I am here in Nigeria I can not guarantee myself of undivided attention to the online class. This is getting me worried please any advice will help. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Cigbojugha: Sorry to say this.. How will you Opt for Option A? OVER 4,000 people died in the UK yesterday and you think this Corona will End anytime soon? C and D should be your best Option. Online Classes? God Forbid. Am I crazy? Scam of the Century.. Just go to COURSERA and you can do a decent Online Course less than 100£ and they will issue you a Certificate.....than dashing these Mofoes your Millions 7 Likes |

Gavrelino123: I have warned them to go for September 2020 admission but they wouldnt listen. He should go for option B as COVID would have eased by then. Moreso, IHS surcharge fees will increase in October. o everyone should pursue September 2020 admission. Over 26,000 people have died from COVID and it is likely to continue at this rate. How can you waste your millions on online ? During this period, you cannot also work part time to ease mental health as most companies are closed. There is great delay to get National insurance number. Also, September admission also guarantees PSW visa certainty. A word is enough for the wise. 4 Likes |

Is it still possible to change option? @ Cigbojugha If yes, I think you should go for September to have peace of mind. Gavrelino123 & Hosey are right. Paying millions for an online class is not really an investment. Whole purpose of going to these countries is to seek better life & use snow filter . You can’t achieve this online. Plus going to a danger zone and risking your health is not the best decision. Vaccine results won’t be out until mid June according to reports so it’s advisable to be patient till then. hosey: |

Gavrelino123: Thanks for your advice. I took option A after I went through the news in UK yesterday where it was stated that academics will soon resume in phases. Also I was hopeful that the whole of May, June and July that things will come back to normal. Your advise is taken into consideration. Thanks a lot. |

Skymoore1004: I strongly believe it is possible to change option if I want to. I was also worried not to loose the huge discount I got earlier in the this particular offer. I have sent them a mail to confirm what my options are tuition wise if I chose to go for September. |
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by Cigbojugha: 2:08pm On Apr 30, 2020 |
hosey: Thanks for the reply. Option B which is September is also stated to have initial classes online if the situation does not normalize by then too. So there is no guarantee but its a better option. The July class will commence 7th of. August which is about one month to September. I also knew about the IHS increment but wasn't sure of when. |
