Through the Commonwealth Distance Learning Masters Scholarship, you could study a Master’s course remotely (from the comfort of your home) at a top University in the UK without paying a penny!

Eligibility criteria:

1. Be a citizen of an eligible Commonwealth country (check the attached document); Nigeria is inclusive.

2. Be resident in the country at the time of application.

3. A minimum CGPA of Second-class (Upper; 2’1) Bachelor's degree OR a lower grade (e.g. 2'2) with relevant professional work experience.

This thread had gone so quiet. Hmmm!!!
I believe that the current happenings will end up as good.
However I want to ask;
1) Does PTDF place scholars in universities particularly those who picked France, Germany, Malaysia and China?
2) Can an intending scholar be allowed to change from UK to F/G/M/C at this stage after interview has been conducted for MScs either by contacting PTDF now or bringing an admission from any of the countries?

I have carefully checked through one of the schools in France-Grenoboe to specific- and am highly impressed by the rigourous nature of the programme which includes 5 months internships, strong emphasis on research, opportunity to work with good companies just within the neighbourhood of the university and chance to specialise e.t.c. This and much more appears better than what Imperial, Birmingham is offering. Yes Imperial and Birmingham have the world class name but I am looking well beyond the programme.

I don't want to make decision base on name of the school or opportunity to live in UK only.

you seem to have good points.... but at this point, you can't change your choices. it is possible to get any of those countries miraculously though. for me, any destination is still soft since I stand to lose nothing.
major issue now is for the process to get completed!

You are on the right lane.. Companies value practical experience and internship in Europe a lot.... Focus on composite materials, that is the in thing now in europe

Securing admission independently is the most appropriate thing to do sir because PTDF will not secure admission for you,most of the last year German scholars are still in Nigeria just because before PTDF released the list of successful scholars, winter admission in Germany has closed.
