Analyze this 8/10

When it came to comedy this crime picture delivered the goods, although the drama can be a bit off-putting and manhandled, but the godfather references are enough to make up for that. grin

Robert De Niro really lives to repeat himself. grin
there's also Analyze That. You should see it also.

Lock, stock and two smoking barrels 9.5/10

I think among Guy Ritchie's crime trilogy of proper naughty British gentlemen, this is the one with the most soul and encapsulation. It felt like watching Martin Scorsese's Mean Streets or Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs both of which gave me an overwhelming feeling of satisfaction on first viewing.

The man strikes me as a creative mastermind, I tell you, only Tarantino and Scorsese have had a similar effect on me as filmmakers. I have seen all Tarantino's feature films except Death Proof and I have been gradually going through Scorsese's filmography and I think Guy Ritchie will get the same treatment as these two gentlemen. cool I haven't seen the movies you mentioned above, but I will. Love and Other Drugs (2010) - 6/10
Love & Other Drugs is a 2010 American romantic comedy-drama film directed, produced and co-written by Edward Zwick.
Handsome pharmaceutical salesman Jamie Randall (Jake Gyllenhaal) always has good luck with women. A chance encounter with Maggie Murdock (Anne Hathaway), a free-spirited Parkinson's patient, leads to a sexual relationship. As Jamie and Maggie become closer, each must question if a serious commitment is in their future. The movie setting takes place in the 1990s. It also talks about the difficulty of Parkinson's patients to fit in the society. It is emotional and contains a number of se.x scenes.
As a romcom, the story ain't perfect but I kinda enjoyed it, not because of the se.x tongue

The problem with King Arthur was that it's a story everybody is aware of & as such, it had nothing new to offer. It was rather cliché & unoriginal, as it borrowed ideas from many fantasy flicks. Hiring Richie for that movie was such a bad idea, as fantasy flicks are not really his forte, he's rather good at gangster flicks.

LMAO..wow! Scorsese filmography, you've got quite a whole lot on your plate. Am not really into Scorsese movies, though he's very talented. I did see one of his works, which goes by the name Hugo. And trust me, it was a visual spectacle to behold.

Ritchie is very creative, that i must concur. In this era of cliché ridden plots in Hollywood, he still finds a way to craft something ingenious.

He's so much invested in his story, characters & the dialogues, and anyone who can effectively manage these three things, would always come up with something clever.
