I had not seen this before I pen down my note.. I said few people now applied worldwide. They have less applications to combat with. But we africans are the ones applying now. So, I even expect more people especiallyafricans, will get visa this pandemic periods

THEY are using us to buy time pending the time the Chinese and Indians students would begin to send in their applications. I bet you, if they see more of those guys applying, a lot of these BVL awaitees grin if there is anything like that, will get refusals. And if you send application from now till next 2 weeks, they would respond and complete your case in 2 days.

Guy, send them a webform. They have agents( that recieve all webforms) that monitor your visa process. They will tell you the stage of your visa

Thank you

Bro, BVL is the last correspondence letter/ update to confirm a decision is already made on the IRCC CRM and hence should not take beyond 3 days before refusal and approval mail is sent... that is the the IRCC rule, but what I don't get now is the delay in communicating the outcomes to the applicants and closing out on the applicants SRs.
Meanwhile, this BVL things are now mostly common among african applicants. Note, you would agree with me later that they are only buying time when CHINA opens or ease her lockdown.

Luckymama:
Or could it be that the BVL is an automatic update that’s sent when your file is opened and attended to? BVL without any updates on eligibility or background check seems strange. Especially when it is coming a few days or weeks after submission.

Or the Nairobi guys just want to keep guessing since it appears we are decoding them? Anyhow sha eventually result will come out.

Just pray that God should favour you irrespective of the outcome...
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Jojolet: 12:55am On May 01, 2020
But how did we come to the conclusion that the BVL correspondence letter suggests decision has been made on the application? Is there anywhere this is documented apart from observed trend? Because when you read the content I believe it should ordinarily be sent after biometrics is completed for first time applicants and immediately for subsequent applications. My thoughts though.

Hi, do those on scholarship still need to show additional proof of funds when applying??

Hello,
If you have been granted admission by an institution, college , University (Designated Learning Institute) in Canada, basically, you have an acceptance letter at hand and have been informed to apply for a study permit.

Please house, is a CGPA of 3.54/5 having a CGPA of 3.33/4 (free WES tool) from last two years of study (400 &500l) good enough to secure admission into a Masters thesis based course in University of Saskatchewan or University of Regina?

Hey Guys,

I hope you are staying safe out there,I am making this post for my younger sis. That was denied study visa recently. Kindly see the denial letter details below.

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial asset.

She is a recent graduate that just finished her Nysc last year .Guys please do you think she should reapply. I will also like to mention she has two biological sisters in Canada specifically Calgary and that’s where the school she is attend is located.

Thanks in Advance.

My 2kobo here is, do not rush to reapply.. I will advise she gets some experience while she waits. Also they pointed out her assets, how much or Wat was used as her assets, who is her sponsor. The two biological sisters over there, wen did they move, if it's recent who was their sponsor and is the sponsor the same that wants to sponsor her.

Thanks for the response. She has Nysc as her only experience. One of her sisters moved to Canada through study permit in 2015 and the other moved in 2019 with Canadian PR program. Her sponsor is her mother alone. And yes she is willing to sponsor her again.

Happy New Month Everyone,

I have a serious/not-to-serious issue depending on your point of view.

So I happen to have gained admission to Douglas College (COMPUTER AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS (POST-BACCALAUREATE DIPLOMA)) for September 2020. But I lost my job last month.

And yes I'm using an Uncle from my mothers' side as my sponsor. He owns a construction company in Nigeria.

Here are my predicaments:
1) Do I still need Letter of Introduction from Employer
2) Recommendation letters from job experience
3) Do I need to write IELTS since I already got the admission and Paid part of Tuition as requested by the school before the Pandemic?
4) Can I apply for a VISA with my passport which is expiring August 2020
5) Would a birth certificate be sufficient enough to show Ties btw my Mum and Uncle?

Thank you all for your time...

Hello everyone, hope everyone is staying safe and active.
I have been following this thread for a while and binge reading lately. I wanted help from anyone with regards to the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology.

Does anyone have reviews or is anyone currently studying there?

Is it too late to apply now for the fall semester in September?

In my admission application for the diploma, do i use just my Waec results and scratch card as transcripts or do i need to go back to my secondary school?

Can i apply with only my high school results?

I graduated last year with a second class(upper dv) and I'm currently in my service year to end in Nov. but i want to leave and start the diploma this year.

Please, i would appreciate any and all help. Thank you all.

GoodMorning and happy new month my people !!

I need an advice and way out....

I finish my secondary school in 2011 and also finish my Ordinary National Diploma In kwara poly in 2014 where I studied Business Administration and I Graduated with lower class, then I applied for Bsc in University Of Manitoba wanted to study business administration, which I gained the admission and put in for a student visa and got denied 3 times around 2015, 16 and 17 , and the refusal reasons then was insufficient funds in my sponsor account (My Dad).. so I decided to take jamb which I passed and graduated from a university in Benin Republic where I studied business administration and I graduated with 2.2 and I’m currently undergoing my NYSC.... with my result which school can I put in for a Master’s or what can I do next

Your contributions are needed urgently

Thanks....

Good day everyone, I must commend the prompt and meticulous response of people on this page. Once more well done.
To my question, I intend travelling with my family on a student visa. We are a family of 4. Myself, wife and two dependent children ( ages 6 and 3). How much money should be good for POF. It is a two year program.
I await your kind response. Thanks

Hello house, Happy new month. I'm new here but have read through previous threads.

I want to apply to either University of Alberta for MEng in Engineering Management or Fanshawe for Diploma in Practicals of Mechanical Engineering. Kindly provide answers as much as you can to the following questions.

1. Is anybody here currently studying or had studied there at Uni of A? I want to confirm that the quoted amount on their website is for the full course, not per term or year

2. Which exam is easiest? TOEFL or IELTS Academic

I intend to sponsor myself and the goal is to get PR eventually.. Kindly provide more info to help achieve my aim, be in a reconsideration in my choice of course or school.

Thank you for responding
