The Bible contains the story and chronicles of how people lived their lives many years ago (the Jews as casestudy), so it included their lifestyle, the wars they fought and the bloodshed.

Check out the size of the human not far from the skeletal form and compare the size to the description of the Leviathan the bible talks about.
