smithyemy: Uncle, corona stepped in here February 25th, it has been here for 3 months now with community spread . Thanks for caring but we have already dodged the bullet that was shot in UK . We are in African continent, compare us with what is happening in other African countries instead of Europe. Our Togolese neighbors did not lockdown, Benin republic did not lockdown, we are now worse than them so lockdown is not working 1 Like |

Sometimes people don't understand what they are trying to claim. Don't be surprised that if Lagos State especially, reveal the state of origin of some of the infected persons, you would be shocked by the region who would have the highest number in terms of state of origin of the infected patient. So let us not start bringing Tribal sentiment to this as some have already started. I'm from the South South where atleast one state is not yet infected presently, but I see this fight as a collective effort for all Nigerians. God bless Nigeria!!! zedegit: |

JustBeYourselfO: statements like this made the govt delay closure of airports until we got into this mess inflate what figures ? in fact these figures are most likely suppressed because of our limited testing capacity Sanwolu has said the big numbers are still ahead ...how govt will ease lockdown when numbers are rising is still confusing we are in this mess because of the excessively delayed airport closure and extremely slow testing speed . ..n.a. faith remain now the science and data don't look encouraging .. meanwhile govt should start talking to Madagascar 1 Like |

DarkJeddi: I don't care what the government thinks, the whole objective of the lockdown was not achieved. They want to ease the lockdown because of there own ineptitude and lack of commitment.. How come the numbers is high now? Did they just start massive testing when buhari made his last speech? If so, what have they been doing four weeks guess they were busy enjoying the spoils from donation here and there.. 1 Like |

senatordave1: I don't know if you're a guy or lady but what I know is this, you should make a visit to NCDC centre at yaba please, don't wait till you get this virus believing it's not as rampant at it's being proclaimed. Trust me, this shit is higher than the figures released my dear. It's confirmed, people will die, it's none negotiable, but dying out ignorance especially when are educated and should know the fact is sad. Stay safe, be wise, the affluent will get treatment based on their status, but how about common man who is struggling to survive? Be advised. Cheers 2 Likes |

senatordave1:You and Kyase are defintely not very bright people if law of simple common sense can elude you so glamorously, if neighboring African countries have cases in thousands and hundreds of thousands everywhere else, why should Nigeria with a population of almost 200m people be different, I think it's becoming more clear and obvious that you APC fanatics don't really think things through as touted. |

grandpoh:The objective of the lockdown is to slow down the infection.. How did you know that it didn't slow down the infection? Even in America,THOUSANDS are being infected every day despite the lockdown.. Like it or not, this lockdown is costing the government more than any donations you can ever give them.. How much do you think Lagos State is loosing per day, because of being locked down? If more people are testing positive it's because more people are being tested and more people are spreading the virus.. 1 Like |
