A Taxi Driver (2017; Korean)

This is a well adapted story of an internal unrest in the South Korea in the late 1980. Autocratic style of government mixed callousness led to lack of care for people lives. Bravery and (stupid) professionalism were on display in this epic work.

8.5/10

D-day (2013; Bollywood)

I have had this in my collections for years with hope of saving it for the right time. I had to see it in the memory of Irrfan Khan (and Rishi Kapoor). This movie describes sacrifice and selfless service to one's nation well. The life that we enjoyed wouldn't have been easy without the brave sacrifice of others. Well written, superbly acted with reasonable mix of good sound without disruption to the flow of the story. Worthy of a rewatch after I have cleared the long list of unseen movies.

9/10

The Occupant (Spanish) 7/10. Choose ur friend wisely, be careful who u help and who u will introduce to ur family cos many people want what u have and can desperately do anything to take it away from u... but I don't like how the movie end.

The Godfather III (1990) - 7/10
The Godfather Part III is a 1990 American crime film produced and directed by Francis Ford Coppola. It is the third and final installment in The Godfather trilogy. A sequel to The Godfather (1972) and The Godfather Part II (1974), it completes the story of Michael Corleone, the patriarch of the Corleone family, who attempts to legitimize his criminal empire. The film also includes fictionalized accounts of two real-life events: the 1978 death of Pope John Paul I and the Papal banking scandal of 1981–82, both linked to Michael Corleone's business affairs. The film stars Al Pacino, Diane Keaton, Talia Shire, and Andy García, Eli Wallach, Joe Mantegna, Bridget Fonda, George Hamilton, and Sofia Coppola.

The Godfather Part III received generally positive reviews, albeit less than the critical acclaim that the first two films received.
Common criticisms have focused on Sofia Coppola's acting, the plot's convoluted nature, and its inadequacy as a "stand-alone" story.
Personally, the movie was good, but it was mediocre compared to the prequels.

It was Brando who refused his award, Al Pacino said he wouldn't attend the show because he felt he should have been nominated for best actor instead of the best-supporting actor since he had more screen time than Marlon Brando, the rumour is, this pissed the awarding body off so they did their thing. When part II came, he got the best actor nomination and still didn't win.
yeah right miscalculated

Iosprince, you were right. Godfather III was nothing compared to its prequels. I have noticed a 'norm' concerning declining plot quality in sequels.
The only trilogy I know that beat that 'norm' was Lord Of the Rings.

You are very right about Guy, as for Scorsese I suppose you haven't seen some of his notable works like Goodfellas, Wolf of Wall Street, The departed, The Irishman, Taxi driver, Raging bull, The aviator and so on... I suggest you do so, especially Goodfellas, taxi driver, raging bull (considered as his magnum opus), and The departed.

I've seen some of em', I'd check out the rest. Cheers mate.

lol we many...i remember back then in school when SD card of 8gb and above wasn't a thing, me and my friend will fill our meagre 2gb Sd card" on our Nokia N73 with movies grin but with school work we won't have the time to see them, we will just be skimming through movies on ",coreplayer," and deleting and downloading again and again cheesy

Lol.. That's why i follow up on very few series, cause i know if i download em', i might end up not seeing it. Imagine downloading season 1-10 of a series & not seeing em', & at the end of the day, you end up deleting it to save space.

Thanks to the lockdown, Money Heist i downloaded since last year, i only got to see it during this lockdown.

Well said. I for one wouldn't even mind Sofia's acting (I think the scene where she made out with Garcia is very arousing wink ), my main gripe with the film is with Michael Corleone's characterization. They massacred my boy just to seem fresh.
I still love the movie tho, but it is way below the belt compared to the first two.
