I think a platform like this is meant for the intellects, you don't know hamy people your posts affect everyday.

It's not a must to post here, especially when you don't have facts, I've heard some people say the virus doesn't even exist!

Please let's get our posts not because of ourselves but because of others who might read and believe and as a result get carefree or careless.

Thank you.

You're not that bright.
Every human being in Nigeria with a good working brain should know that if the virus exists in Nigeria, then it's likely to spread faster than anything, therefore cases would definitely be higher than the number of confirmed cases being released by the NCDC.
So whether NCDC are making up numbers or not, it doesn't change the fact that the cases in Nigeria are probably times 10 the number of confirmed cases.
Unless you don't believe the virus is in Nigeria.
Anyhow you're still a covidiot... I hope your ignorance won't cost others their life.

Why are you people still in denial with this conspiracy theories. This virus is going to be around over the next two years according to new estimates while infecting millions more across the globe. Keep thinking this is about getting money from the WHO/UN, reality will hit you very soon.

The mentality of a large proportion of Nigerians has become so bastardized to believe that money and self-fulfillment is everything such that they feel that when other people do things or when events occur, the ultimate goal of such action is to make money and for personal gains and nothing else.
On a thread some days ago, someone, like many others, on this forum said govt was intentionally extending the lockdown because they wanted to get more money from the international community. I tried to explain to him that govt itself is losing so much money in taxes and duties for every day that the lockdown persists, far more money than whatever they may get from international bodies. He disagreed and said that govt is not losing money, they make money from oil and gas. I marvelled at his ignorance..and he is a dealer in building materials at Orile. I wondered if he has never paid custom duties since he started his importationbusiness. Perhaps he thinks the money they pay at customs does not go to government.
I weep for our country!

You are right my brother.actually, the virus is real and in Nigeria but just like our population and election figures,it is inflated.actual figures will be less than 500
I know you're an APC baby, hence your ignorance, but nothing is being inflated.

Egypt and SA are recording in excess of 4,000 cases, and you think Nigeria that has almost twice their population is inflating figures on top 2,000+ cases?

If the FG had been testing at the proper rates they should have, the last one month, we would have had over 5,000 cases, but they were busy testing hundred people or less per day, now, testing has been ramped up by up to 1,000 each day, so, the numbers have increased.

Prepare your mind for more, it is not just 500 people that have this virus in Nigeria

Why are you guys this confused in this country? When the figures were low, you all kept saying it’s because Nigeria is not doing enough testing, that the figures are way more than that, infact more than 3000.

Now that testing has increased, you have changed your wailing to, they are inflating the figures, the actual figure is less than 500. What manner of wailing in confusion is this?

Very confused citizens cry it's so sad how many lives ignorance will kill, I'm not really concerned about the ignorant dying, really, my concern is about innocent unsuspecting smart ones they'll infect. En if you're struggling to eat, let me tell you the truth, at some point, it's going to treatment based in your worth.

Just saying...

At least you can choose not to drive as there are other means of transportation. With a highly infectious disease like this, you do not have such an option. Lastly, show us the daily data on deaths through road accidents in Kano or Lagos and let's compare.

And do you think that the Government loves the lockdown any more than you?

Please ask him ooo... Government that is losing billions every day from non-collection of taxes, duties, other services, etc. The license papers of one of my cars has expired since April 4th. I haven't been able to renew it because of the lockdown, the same goes for thousands of people. Who collects vehicle licensing fees, is it not Government?

Exactly what I said on this forum few days ago. I'm not a fan of Buhari but we will all have ourselves to blame for this coming Tsunami. Nigeria will record over 2000 infections per day and so many deaths by June after lifting the lock down. Mrs Melinda Gates prediction will surely come to pass before DEC. If you are in Lagos please pray hard and take extra precaution. I don't understand why the federal and state Governments are not listening to the advise of the Nigerian Medical Association. Why?

Leave them bro, let them go pack themselves for BRT n yellow buses. Nah person wey dey okay they reason job and what to eat. God so help you and people around you when this become unbearable; Mind you, this is naija o, you won't understand that state of health facilities in Nigeria until you've reason to experience it firsthand. Then, you'll know the peace in eating once a day rather than being persuaded to eat.

No bro
I’m not doubting if the virus is real or not
I believe it’s real
But my concern is the figure

And No those health workers are free from convid19 because the stay and interact with their families .

My house is not far from the hospital (testing center)

Yea, the figures are actually very true, infact they will increase with time, you know there is high level of community transmission in Kano now.

The health workers at home don't have covid-19, no. They were excused from work by AKTH because they probably have one health challenge or the other so the hospital excused all such workers.

You know that covid-19 is more fatal to people with other health conditions so the hospital thought it wise to excuse those ones since the virus has been detected among some of its staff.

The figures are correct and will be rising, just keep educating the people to wash their hand and practise physical distancing and other safety measures, cheers!!
