You, other passengers and the mask seller should be arrested.

You should wash well before using and also spray with alcohol. I'm not buying those mass production out there cos most of them are not padded. I'm making it myself with enough pad and in a well sanitized environment.

People need to be mindful. Even if you wan buy from all this road side hawkers, don't be in hurry to wear it, till you finished sterilizing it by washing with disinfectant and soap(possibly using very hot pressing iron on it)

I also witnessed a tailor making facemasks in commercial quantity. And she tested each as she made them to check the size, shape and fittings. That was when i shouted at her, and she was shocked and remorseful.
But two days after, I saw her doing the same thing again.
So, if you are buying those facemasks made in Nigeria, be sure to wash with hot water and soap before using.

I bought 2 masks yesteday from a supermarket in abuja (we were on d way to d market to buy foodstuffs).
These days we dont go anywhere without hand sanitisers...the spray on type, not the jell type. Its made from 70% alcohol and 20% water, then hydrogen peroxide and glycerine.

So on buying these masks, i had to spray them with sanitiser like i recovered them from a covid 19 patient. It was either that or go back home and wash and dry them.

So we waited a few few minutes for d strong alcohol smell of d sanitiser to difuse before putting them on.

How do you expect the young man to take back the one you tested and give you a fresh face mask? Its not done and its not normal. Immediately the man saw reason with us, he just took the very first one he tested and give the man his money.
