[b]Confession of a self acclaimed cultist: Why I killed four Eiye members A tailor and a hard-working one at that, who was described as cool-headed and compassionate, his arrest only confirmed that indeed, facial expression can be deceptive. In an encounter with 32-year-old Kabiru Ahmed, he made a startling revelation on his activities and role as a cultist. His story is such that sends shivers down one’s spine and his bravado at unleashing mayhem. One of such revelations was how he gunned four rival members to death, as he claimed they were responsible for the death of the herbalist that provided charms for him. Ahmed, who hails from Kano state, confessed that he was the hitman of the infamous Aiye confraternity. His story is not like the usual, but, a show of desperation. Further disaster by him was curtailed by the iron hands of the Anti-Cultism Unit of the Lagos State Police Command. He revealed that he was initiated to the confraternity in the year 2010, and was the group’s butcher before his arrest. According to him; ‘I have carried out several assignments to fight or kill members of other rival groups. I killed four members of the Eiye confraternity last year. I was on a mission to avenge the death of our Babalawo (herbalist) , who initiated me into the group. The death of ‘Babalawo’ led to a killing spree of members of and their rival, Eiye. First, late Babalawo’s squad at Apapa avenged his death by killing a member of the Eiye confraternity who was also one of its strong men. In retaliation, Eiye group stormed the Apapa squad, killed some of our members and injured others. Among those killed in , was a guy we called Bebeto. As if that wasn’t enough, after some weeks, Eiye struck again and killed two of our strong members: Angola and his friend, Shekpe. “When news of their death filtered in, some of our members fled to Fadeyi, but the Eiye men there, saw one of them inside a bus and with the aid of traffic congestion, our member was dragged out of the commercial vehicle and killed. his corpse was dumped at Ojurin, in Fadeyi. Again, another Black Axeman was killed, with his body yet to be recovered”. When I heard of Babalawo’s death and others that were killed, I took it upon myself to avenge their death. I called one of my friends, Amaru, who is also a strong member of Aiye and usually supplied us guns when needed. I told him I needed a gun urgently and he said it would cost me N25,000 to get the type of gun I needed. I saved up some money from my tailoring work and sent it to Amaru to help me purchase the gun’’. Armed with the needed weapon, he said he decided to take rivals one after the other. Hear him: ‘’One day, I was in a restaurant at Ebute-Meta and overheard a guy telling his friend that there would be a party at a night club in Ebute Meta, being organized by members of Eiye group. Immediately I heard it, I made up my mind to strike that night. I made straight for the venue, with my gun. I waited patiently , outside, for the right time to strike. “When I sighted a group of Eiye members approaching, I went close them and shot one of them, while others fled. I also escaped. ‘’I killed two other Eiye members during a street fight between our group and theirs. I shot one of them dead, while another member was stabbed to death. The fourth killing was done on a fateful night. A member of my group led me to a street in Fadeyi where I shot an Eiye member to death. After the killing, he said news of his involvement went round the area. He said, “People began to suspect I was a cultist. I told my mum that something was fishy and that I wanted to leave the area for a while. “I stopped relating with other members of my group to avoid further suspicion. But it was too late to readjust. I was in my house when some policemen came to pick me in connection with a recent fight I wasn’t part of”. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2020/03/confession-of-a-self-acclaimed-cultist-why-i-killed-four-eiye-members/amp/

AngryIgboMan: I have been quietly following this post when done to Sonotocultism. This photo happen before my eye, the guy was a cultist and came for clearance. it was just 3guys that surrounded him, close to extension gate (as if u r going to imsu junction). I was across d road at that upstairs close to. cyber cafe bout crossing the road before that shot went off. the guy wt the gun ran towards imsu junction while the other two crossed the road and walked off as if nothing happened. with what I saw in my time in lmsu (2012-2016), I don't feel piety if a cultist is killed. I stayed at front gate throughout my time in skul at the no go area side(only those who know will understand) 7 Likes |

Vanzcharles:thanks a lot for clearing doubts. I could remember very well how I used to dress while in school. Dressing corporate(your shirt, cap and foot wear appear same colour) was what my course mates were known for. Because almost everybody dresses that way, the cultists then derived a means of identifying their new members. they would come to you and call you by their jargon names: Amingo,Eze nnunu(king of the birds), alora, fine boy, aro etc Your response to these names will either save you or lure you to problem. Though sometimes they seize the wears or beat you, they never killed nonmember all in the name of wearing either their colours or their rivals colour. 5 Likes 1 Share |

ozoebuka1:Bros, on a normal day, dressing in red however you want it shouldn’t be a problem to anybody. But since some deranged fellows have made it their life work to intimidate/harass anyone dressed in a particular colour, I’d advise you steer clear of their radar by not wearing some colour combinations 6 Likes |

gaby: I think I'll pen my travails someday, sometime. Nothing means anything if you don't sincerely know and follow God. Cultism is bad.. It is evil and makes you question your very existence. You will lose touch of reality i tell you. No matter who is involved, one day when you realize the ills of what you got yourself into, it might be too late. Ask Davido why he didn't go and perform at Mercy Johnsons Husband hotel (Henod Hotel at Abulegba) after collecting appearance fee in full? If you no go... You no go know. I personally know many cultists that are still living and balling.. Understand me..cultism no good oo, I ain't one and dont have plans to be one .. but hey.. the violence and how yall paint it is kinda overrated.. many dey use there head play am kwa.. people wey dey mostly die na people wey dey carry am for head.. hustla: You dey mind am? He doesn't know what it feels like to be looking over your shoulders all the time. That feeling is not good at all. I wouldn't wish it for anyone. Granted, some on this very thread have lived that life since JSS 3 and it has become a part of the routine so it looks to others like they are never affected by the violence. Trust me, they are affected. Psychological torture is worse. You get to know how messed up even using your sense to do runs is. You imagine your car breaking down at night in some rival parts of town and you just shudder at the thought of that. Even many years after leaving the game. What if some low-life who didn't progress as you some 18 years ago recognises you there and blows the whistle. Crazy thoughts. Nothing like use head there. Then the young and upcoming ones who heard stories about you and how you are doing fine now (they believe everyone with a car and house has arrived) want to always come and pay homage to you anywhere they see you in public, thereby limiting the places you hangout to avoid casting by association. Imagine sitting in some bar, discussing and trying to tie down a business deal with responsible people and some riff -raffs approach your table hailing you loudly "Aro XY" or "Dodos Mi Lordy" to the hearing of everyone. Business deal could survive, however, you won't feel comfortable returning to that spot again. All your coded belonging done enter fire. That stuff changes your life in some ways forever. That constant feeling of uncertainty isn't pleasant at all. Best to avoid cultism altogether. It doesn't pay. Simple! 57 Likes 3 Shares |

seankafor:In my little knowledge, cultism has gone beyond one sided mystery. Many years ago, there was no cultism on the street, apart having agbero known as hooligans. But these days both the school and the street have been captured for this evil activities, and there is no way that anyone who is practicing cultism in these areas wouldn't be caught up one day. The people that survived school don't return to street else they die. Many of them have travelled out of the country. The ones who have no money are today counting their cost. It is better to avoid than being captured. 3 Likes |

RIP Stanley Abas To all those that love a particular cult group and you love staying around them and have high libido when you hear about your loved cult group, this one is for you. I do have a boy known as Stanley. He was in his 300 level when he was killed. He was killed by the Vikings and he was the only one who died in that HIT. The most annoying thing is that, he wasn't killed because of mistaken identity as Vikings knew he wasn't a part of us but was killed to get back at us. A very loyal boy to me and to all at bembo in abraka . He buys food for us, drinks, weed and all for us . The fight started in a bar known as koof bar in abraka. We were sitting outside in perfect circle when a member of the Vikings came in. He sat down inside the bar and we where outside the bar. We wanted to discuss some pending issues regarding the temple . We where waiting for chairman and we he came he echoed out, Chairman : men hail men , aye axxxe mennnnn US: ayeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!! Immediately the vikings heard aye, he became angry as if something took over him, he got up and went straight to where my Aruba was sitting and purposely used his leg on the legs of the table and all our drinks ( kokoma ) fell down. My Aruba immediately took a bottle of stout from the fridge and used it on his head. We where angry and asked him where he go the bottle from and he said the fridge and we all raced towards the fridge collecting two bottles each and we dashed towards the direction of the Vikings and we immediately started stabbing him . We took him straight to one of the non functional beaches and we called an indigene of the community who was also an axe man to bring us a nylon full of soldier ants. We wore the Vikings member a Jean shot after removing his boxers . We tied the 2 leg openings of the shot with rope and also tried his hands. The only opening which is from the waisted side, we then poured in the soldier ant through the waiste opening and tired the waiste opening also with a rope. So there was no escape for the soldier ant and they feasted on him. We left him at the beach. The axe man who brought us the soldier ants told us the Vikings found him that night and helped him and was rushed to the general hospital. We immediately sent eyes if he was there to finally drop him but the eyes reported that he was no where near the hospital. They had already declared war on all . Now we did not tell Stanley because he was not an axe man. The Vikings looked for us as they couldn't find us. They found Stanley and dismembered his body parts and dropped him in front of the koof bar. We all left town and that was the end of Stanley. The issue was settled and we returned to campus. Koof bar was finally closed never to reopen again. Please stay away from cultists. They will kill you if they don't find any of them. A word is enough for the wise. 93 Likes 7 Shares |
