Hello everyone
Please as regarding getting a Canada Study Visa I have some questions to ask.

1. For a couple is it possible to get dependent visa along with the Study Visa.
2. After payment of school fees, what amount will be needed as settlement funds for the couple.
3. How long is the Settlement funds supposed to be in the account before printing the bank statement out to be submitted for visa application?

Thanks for your prompt response.

An excellent LOE is your way out.

Pls house help me out, how do I reapply and prove that I have a genuine reason for applying for PGC after I have obtained MBA here in Nigeria. I have made the mistake of mentioning the MBA in the first application and I can't remove it again. I was refused based on travel history and purpose of visit and I wish to try this last time before giving up. Anyone with suggestions on these two exceptions.NB. I have travelled only once to the UK in 2014.

Possibly with the lockdown eased and coys starting work on Monday, it's likely they will be open

I am inquisitive to know, as an agent said there is a University in Canada that offers MBA to 2:2 students with work experience, that all they need to do is a pre-mba before the MBA itself.
How true can this be ?

That agent is after your money.
No university in Canada takes 2:2 for Msc/MBA except you have an excellent GMAT/GRE score.

Thank you for your response.
The agent also said if I am going for PGD, I should go for the one with 2 years, so I can get 2/3 post graduate work permit. Unlike me going for a year PGD, where I am given just 1 year post graduate work permit. How true is this?

1) These are affordable and cheap universities in Canada:
1.Brandon University, Manitoba
2.Canadian Mennonite University, Manitoba
3.Dominican University College, Ottawa
4.Memorial University of Newfoundland
5.Simon Fraser University, British Columbia
6.University of Prince Edward Island
7.University of Winnipeg, Manitoba
8.University of New Brunswick
9.University of St. Paul, Ontario
10.Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Alberta
11.University of Saskatchewan

2) u will need to visit the schs. website to know their application fees and tuition fees

3) Well.. It depends but advisably , ur Sponsor should have more money to sponsor u

4)Nobody can assure u of ur chance of securing a visa . But if u ask questions, and craft ur application well, u stand a chance of securing a visa..
Just make sure u ask questions in d forum and share ur profile (documents) when u are on the verge of submitting so as it to know if u are good to go or there are somethings u need to add or remove

Good luck
Thanks so much bro
I will like to start the process before June ending.

Hello,
If you have been granted admission by an institution, college , University (Designated Learning Institute) in Canada, basically, you have an acceptance letter at hand and have been informed to apply for a study permit.

Do check this out:

21. Resume
22. Professional Certifications (if any)
23. Volunteer letters
24. Recommendation letters from job experience

If you're using a company sponsorship as primary proof of support, I would suggest you get them to pay part of your tuition fee and transfer the living expenses to your account. This will solve the issue of funds accessibility and availability that might be raised by the visa officer.

Best of luck

If you have digested this, then you can now ask your questions on how to begin and make a well-packaged Canada Study Visa Application

Your Questions Will be Answered.

Alright..

If there is a September ( Fall Intake) 2020 or January (Winter) 2021 for the M.SC course u wanna apply for , U should START the process ASAP, Most especially to Secure a Supervisor if its a Thesis Based Masters u are going for..
Cos the Duration of Masters Admission Process do take long most times, and it is when a Potential Supervisor agree to supervise u, that's when u can begin to Procees ur M.SC Admission,
But if its course-Based M.SC u are going for, u don't need a supervisor

Uwc,
From my own point of view,

They are quite Similar

Confirmation of Employment is a an employment verification letter or Job Confirmation letter which confirms ur employment status ...might be sent to ur email when u applied for a Job and got a positive response

While

Letter of Employment is Official.. Might be having a letter head and would be made formal

And by the way, not everyone can have all of this documents listed cos applicants vary, some might be ex-corp members who hasn't gotten a Job yet, such letter won't be necessary cos NYSC PPA Letter of Acceptance & letter of recommendation (after NYSC) would cover for that

Hello friends,

Kindly assist with this. Would it suffice for an applicant (my wife) to submit required docs, employment letter, payslips but WITHOUT her personal SoA?

I am the sponsor and all required docs and funds from a sponsor are available. Family of 3. Plan to travel together.

Your kind response will be appreciated.

Mind me asking, is your wife travelling alone or all of you are travelling together ?

She needs to submit her SOA, if she doesnt have enough, what you could do is to transfer money for her flight ticket or one year stay.. just an amount to support while you still maintain being th main sponsor

It’s not called pre-mba it’s called MBA foundation.
And it’s actually correct.

You guys should always make extensive research before dropping your two cents in every matter here

Yep that is true. A 1 year program will give you 1 year post graduation work permit. A 2 year program will give you 3 years work permit.

The bolded is possible since it is not admission into direct MBA. It is like getting admission for premasters program. You do some courses for some months, pass and then progress into the MBA/masters program. Tell the agent to give you the name of the school and then do your research.

However, the truth is for most direct masters/MBA programs in Canada, you stand a better chance with a good 2.1 degree. In rare cases, with a 2.2, you can get admission if you had good grades in your 300 and 400level. The faculty and course also plays a role.

Finally, the duration of your program will most likely dictate the length of PGWP you get.
