Don't return the loot...the loot that could have helped this country, because Buhari is killing christians...

Well, last I checked, Fulani herdsmen are not just attacking christians, they are also attacking Muslims too(Who do you think the bandits in Katsina, Niger and Zamfara are attacking? Which tribe are the bandits from?). Same with Boko Haram that has killed more Muslims than Christians , yet Buhari's muslim brethren voted for him in 2019 in Borno....

Then there is the comment...Don't give our leaders, they will steal it.

Well...we are a democracy now. Our job in this democracy is to PUT PRESSURE ON OUR LEADERS AND MAKE SURE THAT THEY DO THE RIGHT THING AT ALL TIMES.

But no, either we are praising Buhari, or we are forming armchair critic. Most educated Nigerians would rather write an article bashing the government, but won't do more than that. And those Bubu praise singers too....things are going wrong. Even if you don't think that Bubu is deliberately killing Christians, at least the security of this country is a mess, and nothing much is being done.

The honest truth is, Nigerians are not ready for democracy. We , and that includes me, want to be spoonfed. To get up and do the hard work of civil discourse, even fighting for our rights as citizens, we won't do. Instead we come and build castles in the sky on Nairaland, and nothing happens.

So, let the US give us our money. Abacha stole it, it is our money. But let us make sure that even as the money comes we must also be ready to do the hard work of a democracy. Otherwise, government, the Americans and our corrupt politicians will continue to play us well well.

I totally agree and endorse this comment. You will be surprised that come the next dispensation Nigerians will sing the praises of PMB to the high heavens just as they are doing same now for GEJ. I mean the same Nigerians even sing the praises of the late Abacha. You can see we are not objective in our criticism we only use sentiments to criticise. We deserve everything coming our way.
