Hazard Allowance and Life Insurance for our Doctors are some of the things they should not be pleading for. Government should give it to them. Its necessary to motivate them.

Aside from the life insurance, they could at least continue to negotiate for other requests while they do their job. Their services are key to controlling this pandemic 3they know that. This is not the appropriate time to ask for some of those things wallah.

Where is the patriotism?
They shouldn't ask for their allowances and hazard allocation just to show patriotism? U should tell politicians to stop collecting new vehicles, wardrobe, newspaper, fuel and other allowances. I'm not a doctor or related to one but they are right on this

Your brain is useless because not everyone will treat Corona virus. In face of Corona V producing a cure is ultimate.
onyxo76:
very useless, but you are more useless since you can't treat corona virus patients.

Seriously those Doctors should just park one side. At this time of Zero economic activity they are asking of improved welfare. Are they this selfish. Many states are cutting civil servant salary and they are looking for increase in welfare.

Are these guys human or beasts. Why go on strike at this time as if you are immune to the virus. Just know that if we are not safe, you are not safe either .
And treating the virus without protective equipment is keeping them safe right? They should treat you and then you get well but they should keep quiet about protection and poor hazard allowance right? When they get sick and die you will be safe but you are too useless to them to save them. Is it not better that all of us aren't safe than to save a useless bunch who doesn't appreciate them but expects them to work like slaves and keep quiet.

Nigeria doctors are using this opportunity to milk their respective state dry, advising government need for continuous lockdown for their selfish gain.

Is this the right time for strike??
Is this the right time to deny them of protective equipment to keep them alive as well as pay them properly? What is a senator doing that he collects over 1M a year for newspaper allowance when a Dr gets 5k per month for hazard allowance?

Sad we dont value these guys here. Here they are poorly remunerated and always go this route to get their rights. Sad reflection of what Nigeria is today.

If our useless politicians are privileged to have those allowances without making any difference then the doctors and other workers deserve more. Imagine 15k for hazard allowance.
