This is just something I have been thinking and working about for years now.

I have realised that presidency and Governors are not our problems instead our Senators, House of reps members and state assembly members

President dont play through the dilapidated roads in your area, your state governor's have no idea about insecurities going on in your area.

The closest people to us are the state assembly members, followed by House of reps and Senators.

If we election a credible person to represent us at any of the assemblies, there would be change in already non working existing laws.

Bills sent to any of the house that won't favour the masses will bluntly be rejected.

Those who have squandered both federal and state resources will be prosecuted .

BTW, Dino gave us an hint that underperformed representatives can be recalled...

We can't continue complaining without providing reasonable and working solutions

They are all responsible for the state of this Nation. Mind you the problems did not start today, it started 60 years ago when they "Liberated" us from British rule. Ask your grandparents, they will tell you life was better under British rule than under Nigerian rule.

Op you are wrong to say that governors don't know the security situation. They have aides who represent the people and advise the governor even on the condition of roads. Our problem is simply corruption because our institutions are Weak. Corruption can be ethnic bigotry, religious intolerance, bribe taking and giving and dereliction of duty

The buck stops at the President's feet.

Everyone in Nigeria today answers to the President's call. Even the bloody opposition.

Whose job is it to strengthen our weak institutions?
Whose job is it to lead a country and inspire its citizens?

All the great countries today who have risen from the ash, from China to Singapore to the USA, they've all had inspirational characters as leaders. The image and pride that South Africa enjoys in global politics is because of Mandela.

Until Nigeria elects its own Roosevelt, Mandela, Lee Kwan Yew and the likes of Russia's supremo we will continue to be a banana republic...

And from everyone reading this, only 0.01% can produce the kind of gutso required to change Nigeria for the better.

The president is the problem. So you are wrong oga. As it stands now, in Nigeria, Buhari is the problem.

So you just wasted years thinking and working on what doesn't make sense..

We shifted all the blames on the president while we exonerate our governors, senators, house of reps members and state assembly reps
