This statistics is largely flawed.

The sample size used to obtain it is also flawed.

Haba..

How did they arrive at these?

What you are saying do not apply here.

How was the family selected.

This is not about opinion where you can do random selection.

And you can't chose same number per state since what are doing is a matter of data.

How did the world bank do concluded that a country Is the capital poverty of the world?

They Went to the country to count everyone??

Answer me?

This Corona virus really revealed the level of poverty in yoruba land, not that it wasn't obvious before.
No one is falling for yoruba propaganda, keep calling Lagos.

Mumu so if Igbo man was the head of NBS and use 22,110 households for methodology and place east states on top you will clap for him, serious you guys should stop fooling yourselves, days of this analogy is over we know how poverty is ravaging southwest

Don't mind those people, I am sure that the margin of error will be very wide as using 22,110 households is just too small for the whole country

THE SOLUTION TO THE ECONOMIC PROBLEMS THAT THIS COUNTRY HAS IS NOT JUST DIVERSIFICATION BUT MANAGEMENT. Our economy can still be diverse and still have this huge poverty rate,if we have bad management especially from our leaders

SW leading the wealth index means they won't be assisted as much as you guys lagging behind in poverty. If anyone is going to game the system, it should be to make the numbers worse so his or her region can get more help/funds.

Same idiot in NBS find it difficult to release phase three of Norminal GDP, he released all western states except Lagos because he is aware that Nigerians already know position of Lagos, in Southeast he released two states Anambra and Ebonyi, the remaining three eastern states is so difficult for him to release for months now, his tenue will soon be over.
We are in 2020 and this mumu is talking 2013 to 2017. Why are you people so backward.

You think they will use all the 180 million Nigeria population for the sample size before?

Do you even know the definition of a sample size and the criteria for it? So you mean world bank ask each person living in Africa before they determine a certain country has the highest poverty?

So you mean the over 1billion citizens of Indians were analyzed individually before the World Bank said they are one of the most poorest country.

A lot of you are educated illeterate!

They didn't go to school they merely manage to know how to operate phone.

Nope they are purposely doing it. If the statistics favor them they will be praising themselves, but if it’s against them then it’s fake.

Don’t think they are angry because it’s Yemi Kale alone, even if Worldbank present a statistics that favor the Yorubas, they will say it’s because worldbank they hate Igbos.

Their usual tactics is Lagos-Ibadan expressway media. Any news that don’t favor them will be automatically tagged that. One will now ask if the Igbos don’t control any news medium anymore.

Oh, we in the SE are fine.
Worry about your brothers in yoruba land.
Almost every able bodied Yoruba man in SW is now a robber , going from house to house robbing several neighborhoods forming one million boys and awawa boys, eating rats and looting food trucks.
Poverty is seen and felt mehn, and it's seen and felt in the SW.
Even you Yorubas aren't convinced by this "statistics".

Immediately I saw Osun and Ogun stats I knew it was fake. In Osun, you see poverty walking on two legs. No state in the south has more beggars than Oyo state per sqm. Go to challenge, go to Iwo road and see able-bodied beggars who will drag your shirts if you don't give them money. grin

This is the same region that we have seen invading bread vans and carting away palliatives due to lockdown hunger. Yet the claim others are the poorest in the south. grin grin

Let's not forget the name of the DG of NBS- Dr. Yemi 'oluwole' kale. That tells us all we need to know about the 'oluwole' statistics and it's authenticity. grin

They keep pacifying themselves with useless stats. I base my asupmtion from what I see on ground. A regular Traveller playing Lagos to Abuja can testify the level of poverty in the South West Nigeria and even some part of Lagos. I don't need any useless and baseless stats from corrupt NBS to know.
