You can only pay in the bank after you download the invoice, it’s a third party(western union business solution) that collects the fees for them, or you can pay with a canadian back account( I did the latter)

No it’s non-refundable, it’s expressly stated, wish I didn’t pay sef but delayed as long as I could.
Thanks. What do you mean by 'wish I didn't pay sef......'?

Mind me asking, is your wife travelling alone or all of you are travelling together ?

She needs to submit her SOA, if she doesnt have enough, what you could do is to transfer money for her flight ticket or one year stay.. just an amount to support while you still maintain being th main sponsor

We are travelling together.

But if its course-Based M.SC u are going for, u don't need a supervisor

Unfortunately you can't use conditional offer to apply for study permit. You will have to fulfill all the requirements including registering for the ACTW test after which you will send them confirmation of registration and then you will also pay the compulsory $5k tuition deposit. As for the study permit, that one can be submitted after you have landed in Canada.

Hello Everyone, Please I require clarification on this;

My sister has just gotten a Conditional Admission Letter from Royal Roads University in Canada for September 2020 intake. Some of the requirements include; 1. registering and passing Academic Writing and Critical Thinking (AWCT) course with at least 70% (B), 2.Submission of copy of study permit approval letter issued by Immigration, Refugees andCitizenship Canada. All with the same deadline of 28th August 2020 while resumption is 7th Sept. 2020. Please, can she process study permit with the Conditional Admission letter?

Thank so much. I appreciate.
Strongwind1960:

Just don't talk about it in your next application, don't mention anything about your MBA acquisition as u apply the third time, as the VO that handled your application previously will be different from the one that will handle it now, the only thing I will advise you to do so is to try nd reconstruct your SOP stronger this time, u can mention some of the courses in your proposed program that tickles your fancy, u can browse about them nd then say how it's knowledge will mek u a hot cake in your country u can find a better word though to Mek it catchy.

Secondly , if you paid part tuition which is otherwise known as tuition deposit(mandatory payment, paid after securing admission) all this while, try and pay your first semester this time b4 reapplying, and if you have paid first semester tuition lately, try and pay the full year tuition, and have sufficient funds to cover for your stay and otherwise.

Lastly, travel history can be waved if the above mentioned is achieved as it is never a very strong reason for visa dismissal, but all the same mention to them you have traveled to UK and u didn't over stay your visa (using bold fonts,), u mention reason y you traveld nd mention y u haven't traveled again since then maybe because of work or otherwise until now, maybe because u need an upgrade in your career, u know better etc.

You can gv it a little tym b4 u apply ND see if Canada will ease it's restrictions, while you gather all the necessary documents u need.
My advise though, your choice is your best bet!

All the best!

Actually I think you can use a conditional offer in some cases (I and some people I know used theirs), in my offer it was stated that i should use the conditional offer as it is. The best thing would be to email the school and find out if it would be possible.

I think you should email the school to find out if this is possible. If it’s not then she has to write the exam as soon as she can and apply for her permit to be able to meet the deadline.

I think it depends on the particular application. I didn’t submit mine and I don’t know anyone personally who submitted theirs. (Fyi their parents were their sponsors.)
You can decide to submit yours but if it’s an online application there might not be enough space for multiple SOAs.

Cflow10:

So then it is optional?
Cause I’m seeing contradicting statements but I really appreciate the responses.

Do I need a new appointment bf visiting vfs or not necessary since my BIL is still valid?

Kindly help me clarify this; what is the visa advantage of a 2 years PGD over a 1 year PGD?

Since applications won't be worked on until biometrics are taken, is it okay to just wait till the coast is clear?

No meaning like Qudkom said. You don't need a SOA if you are applying for a degree progrm and you are 18yrs or less but you need if you are older and obviously it's expected u have some savings for the canada parole

Nobody here can tell you the visa advantage cos nobody knows. The only advantage a 2yr program has over a 1yr is the PGWP which naijaforeigner has explained to you.. as for the guarantee for getting a visa, it all falls on how your SOP sells to the visa officer

Good day house.

Congrats to all those who have gotten lead for visas. I pray for successful outcomes in Jesus name.

Twice I applied to Canada last year to put to bed but I was denied. My elder brother resides there and he asked that I should come over to have my baby. Anyway they denied me twice... Reason for refusal I couldn't prove to them I would return after delivery. In any case I lost interest..

However I got charged up recently to reapply through study route. I have my MBA (Which Wes has evaluated) I intend applying for Child and Youth Care. I am applying for this course based on passion. I have an NGO which focuses on helping vulnerable children. The NGO was registered 2016, and to the glory of God we are making impact.

The school in view is Sheridan College for January 2021 admission.

My questions.

The school fees 13,000 dollars(rough estimate) per year. The course is for 2 years.

I am yet to know how much I would deposit in order to get receipt. How much should my bank account balance show in order to allow me pursue this dream and also bring along my family Husband and 2 children.

Thanks

Please, what if your Sister is a Citizen already.... She owns a separate condo for your stay and you have personal savings of 50k as POF, paid half of the tuition for an MSc and have employment bond with your exployee who's pledged support to assist with certain percentage of fund per month, hoping you return and maintain your employment position back in Nigeria.... And still having both parents and Siblings in Nigeria to shoulder responsibility and manage the family business and estates.....

Isn't that enough tie at home??

If my sister as a citizen pledges to support also, would that affect anything?

Please, I'll like to hear your views

Hello Igbarasdynasty,

Going by your analysis and if properly demonstrated to your advantage, your ties to your home country is solid. But my curiosity is to what extent have you positively contributed to the organization or since what duration have you been employed there that warrants such cost bears by the organization. What's so unique about you that can't allow the organization lay you off or seek for a replacement? If all these questions can't be answered, then you have to straighten your storyline and omit that idea.

Since you are declaring your sister which is an advisable idea, she can write a Letter of Support and providing evidence of the already secured apartment irrespective of who is the owner. If there is other financial declaration like Transportation and Clothing allowances, it should be made known. She can include her valid legal permit and employment details/documents. The last sentence of your query depends on how well you're able to demonstrate and convince the VO on her support.

All the best

Hello Cflow10,

If the applicant is matured and with working experience, its advisable to include a one.

Hello Hamzat55,

The conditional offer letter will efficiently suffice. The important thing is to talk about the conditions and how they can be met.

If you go for a one year program in Canada you only get a 1yr post graduate work permit. 2 year program gets you 3yrs post graduate work permit. The only limit here is a 2yr program is expensive. Also getting a 3yr work permit gives you the chance to recoup what you spent on your studies and also a chance to apply for PR.
