Unfortunately you can't use conditional offer to apply for study permit. You will have to fulfill all the requirements including registering for the ACTW test after which you will send them confirmation of registration and then you will also pay the compulsory $5k tuition deposit. As for the study permit, that one can be submitted after you have landed in Canada. DeeWan: 1 Like 1 Share |

Actually I think you can use a conditional offer in some cases (I and some people I know used theirs), in my offer it was stated that i should use the conditional offer as it is. The best thing would be to email the school and find out if it would be possible. hamzat55: |

I think you should email the school to find out if this is possible. If it’s not then she has to write the exam as soon as she can and apply for her permit to be able to meet the deadline. DeeWan: |

I think it depends on the particular application. I didn’t submit mine and I don’t know anyone personally who submitted theirs. (Fyi their parents were their sponsors.) You can decide to submit yours but if it’s an online application there might not be enough space for multiple SOAs. Cflow10: |

Good afternoon house, Kindly help me clarify this; what is the visa advantage of a 2 years PGD over a 1 year PGD? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Nobody: 4:27pm On May 04, 2020 |
People with different opinions truthfully no one can tell you which is guaranteed they are not the visa officer the best advice is go for which you feel best fits you and package your application well Nkechi48: 1 Like |

Cflow10: No meaning like Qudkom said. You don't need a SOA if you are applying for a degree progrm and you are 18yrs or less but you need if you are older and obviously it's expected u have some savings for the canada parole |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Anon123: 5:50pm On May 04, 2020 |
Nkechi48: Nobody here can tell you the visa advantage cos nobody knows. The only advantage a 2yr program has over a 1yr is the PGWP which naijaforeigner has explained to you.. as for the guarantee for getting a visa, it all falls on how your SOP sells to the visa officer |

Good day house. Congrats to all those who have gotten lead for visas. I pray for successful outcomes in Jesus name. Twice I applied to Canada last year to put to bed but I was denied. My elder brother resides there and he asked that I should come over to have my baby. Anyway they denied me twice... Reason for refusal I couldn't prove to them I would return after delivery. In any case I lost interest.. However I got charged up recently to reapply through study route. I have my MBA (Which Wes has evaluated) I intend applying for Child and Youth Care. I am applying for this course based on passion. I have an NGO which focuses on helping vulnerable children. The NGO was registered 2016, and to the glory of God we are making impact. The school in view is Sheridan College for January 2021 admission. My questions. The school fees 13,000 dollars(rough estimate) per year. The course is for 2 years. I am yet to know how much I would deposit in order to get receipt. How much should my bank account balance show in order to allow me pursue this dream and also bring along my family Husband and 2 children. Thanks E dakun e LA mi Lo yee |

igbarasdynasty: Hello Igbarasdynasty, Going by your analysis and if properly demonstrated to your advantage, your ties to your home country is solid. But my curiosity is to what extent have you positively contributed to the organization or since what duration have you been employed there that warrants such cost bears by the organization. What's so unique about you that can't allow the organization lay you off or seek for a replacement? If all these questions can't be answered, then you have to straighten your storyline and omit that idea. Since you are declaring your sister which is an advisable idea, she can write a Letter of Support and providing evidence of the already secured apartment irrespective of who is the owner. If there is other financial declaration like Transportation and Clothing allowances, it should be made known. She can include her valid legal permit and employment details/documents. The last sentence of your query depends on how well you're able to demonstrate and convince the VO on her support. All the best |

Nkechi48:If you go for a one year program in Canada you only get a 1yr post graduate work permit. 2 year program gets you 3yrs post graduate work permit. The only limit here is a 2yr program is expensive. Also getting a 3yr work permit gives you the chance to recoup what you spent on your studies and also a chance to apply for PR. 1 Like |
